McCabe’s Word Against His

According to a report from the New York Times, McCabe claimed that Rosenstein was spying on Trump.

He said in memos that Rosenstein offered to wear a wire during meetings with Trump.

But McCabe’s word is not trustworthy.

He was fired for lack of candor.

He also declared in the tweets that Rosenstein wanted to have Trump impeached.

Specifically, he was speaking about the 25th Amendment which allows a president to be impeached.

Rosenstein discussed the report, saying he never was serious about spying on Trump.

Justice Department officials are coming to Rosenstein’s aide.

They have claimed it was only Rosenstein being sarcastic about spying on him.

Rosenstein has even offered to resign, reportedly.

He expects to be fired by President Trump regardless.

But Trump’s allies are asking Trump not to fire Rosenstein until he learns the truth.

Fox News host Sean Hannity reported that he believes the New York Times report where this story originated was a setup.

He thinks it was aimed at Trump, so he would fire Rosenstein.

But Trump will wait to hear the facts directly from Rosenstein.

The House Freedom Caucus and the Final Word

Ultimately, the House Freedom Caucus has the final word.

And Trump has many allies in the House Freedom Caucus.

These include North Carolina Representative Mark Meadows as well as Ohio Representative Jim Jordan.

While it is unclear whether they believe Rosenstein, they do believe in Trump.

Time will tell what fate lies in store for Rosenstein.

It is up to President Trump what happens after the two meet later this week.
