Former president Bill Clinton has come under fire for his recent public feud with Black Lives Matter protesters who interrupted his speech.

Demonstrators were upset with Clinton’s 1994 crime bill that locked up thousands of young black males — and his wife’s use of the term “super predator.”

Hillary used the term to help gather support for her husband’s crime bill and to describe young black males she believed were “violent sociopathic criminals” who needed to be locked up.

Clinton hit back at ranting protesters carrying angry signs by wagging his finger and saying they were ignoring “black-on-black” crime.

The former president also accused the activists of defending drug dealers and murderers — which he claimed were the people his bill focused on getting off the streets:

“I don’t know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-old kids hopped up on crack and sent them out on the street to murder other African-American children. Maybe you thought they were good citizens. [Hillary] didn’t.”

Hillary has since apologized to Black Lives Matter activists for the term “super predator” and pledged to not say it again.

Social media has lit up with Black Lives Matter activists, blasting Hillary and her husband for both the 1994 crime bill and his recent showdown with demonstrators.

In an article written in Cosmopolitan, Susana Morris accuses Clinton of using black people to benefit his family’s political career and accumulate power:

“[Bill’s] an opportunist who has consistently used black people as pawns to climb the political ladder. He finds black people helpful when they are politically expedient — like when they constitute a consistent voting bloc of the Democratic Party.

He is also more than willing to throw individual and collective black people under the bus…

And rather than addressing the dog-whistle politics he has successfully used in the past, or even offering up an anemic apology, Bill Clinton doubled down on his language and justified the legislation, even going so far as to insist that the protesters — and, therefore, the Black Lives Matter movement itself — support drug dealers and murderers, and not the real victims of crime.”

Conservative media has long maintained that the Democrat party uses black people solely for political gain. Maybe black Americans are starting to agree.
