Special counsel Robert Mueller was finally forced to show his hand.
Speculation had been mounting for days about a bombshell revelation that would prove Mueller was knocking on Trump’s doorstep with his investigation.
And all hell broke loose when Mueller filed this unbelievable piece of paper in court.
The fake news media was counting down the hours until Mueller and his gang of 17 angry Democrats would submit their sentencing memo for former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
Flynn pled guilty to one count of making false statements to the FBI back in October 2017, immediately setting off a round of speculation that his cooperation could provide insight into how the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians.
Flynn was charged for lying to the FBI about his December 2016 phone conversation with the Russian ambassador regarding the Obama administration imposing sanctions on Russia in response to their alleged election meddling.
Nothing illegal was said during this phone call, but a criminal leak of him being caught on intercepted communications led to his ouster.
FBI agents who interviewed Flynn—including anti-Trump Deep State ringleader Peter Strzok—believed Flynn was truthful in his answers.
But Mueller needed to create crimes out of lawful conduct in order to advance his rigged witch hunt.
So he threatened Flynn with financial ruin in a protracted legal battle and possibly even jailing his son over their lobbying work for the Turkish government to get the decorated military veteran to plead guilty to one single felony count.
Flynn’s guilty plea was the first notch in Mueller’s belt and the media took it as a sign that he was on track to eventually nail Trump.
However, no one knew for certain what Flynn told Mueller and his team.
But that would all change once Mueller released his sentencing memo.
In the document, Mueller would detail Flynn’s level of cooperation and how much leniency the special counsel felt Flynn was owed.
And when the day arrived, no one could believe the answer they got.
Mueller recommended no jail time for Flynn.
“Given the defendant’s substantial assistance and other considerations set forth below, a sentence at the low end of the guideline range — including a sentence that does not impose a term of incarceration — is appropriate and warranted,” the memo read.
But Mueller did not recommend no jail time because Flynn’s 19 interviews with the special counsel’s office yielded proof that Trump colluded with Russia.
The memo simply cited Flynn’s “substantial assistance” in a criminal investigation unrelated to the Russian collusion investigation.
In regards to the Russia investigation, Mueller said that Flynn merely “assisted”.

This was not the bombshell the fake news media expected.
They believed Flynn’s sentencing memo was the beginning of Mueller tipping his hand about the mountain of evidence he was holding in reserve that would prove the Trump campaign engaged in an international espionage conspiracy to rig the 2016 election.
Flynn is the third person in the Mueller probe to be sentenced for lying to investigators.
Lawyer Alex van der Zwaan was sentenced to 30 days in prison for false statements about his interactions with Trump deputy campaign manager Rick Gates.
And former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos was sentenced to 14 days in prison for making false statements to FBI agents about when a professor approached him with information about the Russians possessing dirt on Hillary Clinton.
So it’s not surprising Mueller recommended that Flynn receive no jail time, especially considering Flynn is a three star Lieutenant General – a fact Mueller cited in his sentencing report.
Mueller recommending no jail time for Flynn does not mean the former National Security Advisor provided meaningful information on Russian collusion.
Papadopoulos received a light sentence and Mueller did not regard him as a cooperative witness.
Instead, the Flynn memo fits the pattern of a much hyped extinction-level event for Trump that fizzled out to be a dud because it failed to provide any evidence of treasonous Russian collusion.
