House Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally crossed the line in the sand.
Pelosi stood in front of the TV cameras and let the worst kept secret in Washington out.
But it backfired big time as Nancy Pelosi committed political suicide with one impeachment announcement.
After months of lying about how Pelosi opposed impeachment and that the process of removing President Trump from office needed to be bipartisan, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally gave the go ahead for Democrats to make their partisan coup d’état against Donald Trump official.
In a laughable performance, the physically beleaguered looking Pelosi lied to the American people by claiming Democrats pursued impeachment with regret and a heavy heart out of patriotic duty.
“Sadly, but with confidence and humility, with allegiance to our founders and a heart full of love for America, today I am asking our chairmen to proceed with articles of impeachment,” Pelosi falsely claimed in her weekly press conference.
“His wrongdoing strikes at the very heart of our Constitution,” Pelosi lied. “Our democracy is what is at stake. The president leaves us no choice but to act because he is trying to corrupt, once again, the election for his own benefit.”
But the made for TV moment where Pelosi cemented her humiliation occurred as Pelosi was leaving the press conference.
Sinclair reporter James Rosen shouted a question to the Speaker asking if she hated President Trump.
Pelosi ranted and raved in a disturbing performance where it looked like she wasn’t in control of her motor functions:
“I think the president is a coward when it comes to helping our kids who are afraid of gun violence. I think he is cruel when he doesn’t deal with helping our Dreamers. I think he’s in denial about the climate crisis. … This is about the Constitution of the United States and the facts that lead to the president’s violation of his oath of office.
“And, as a Catholic, I resent your using the word ‘hate’ in a sentence that addresses me. I don’t hate anyone. I was raised with a heart full of love and always pray for the president. And I still pray for the president. I pray for the president all the time.
“So don’t mess with me when it comes to words like that.”
The American people are used to politicians presenting a false face in public.
But Pelosi claiming a reporter asking if she hated President Trump offended her deep Catholic faith was a vomit inducing act of political theater.
Pelosi supports killing babies even if they survive an abortion which makes her guilty of a grave sin in Catholic teaching.
Millions of Americans know Speaker Pelosi is about as much of a committed Catholic as the Ayatollah of Iran.
Pelosi’s over the top performance betrayed the weakness of the Democrat case.
The 31 Democrats that represent districts Trump won in 2016 are terrified of what impeachment will do to their political prospects.
Pelosi conducted herself in an over the top manner like she was a wrestler in the main event of WrestleMania to send the message to her troops that the Democrats were all in on impeachment and should be confident in that decision.
