Black Lives Matter riots continue to spread across the country.
The violence and devastation is crippling communities.
And now you won’t believe who just called in the military to stop Black Lives Matter.
The latest flash point for Black Lives Matter rioters is Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Two police officers shot Jacob Blake seven times after Blake allegedly resisted police commands and suddenly reached into his vehicle.
Violence erupted overnight as Black Lives Matter rioters torched a church and lit a car dealership on fire.
Other video showed Black Lives Matter rioters armed with rifles blocking sheriff’s department vehicles from responding to the mayhem.
There was also disturbing footage of a Black Lives Matter mob knocking a police officer unconscious by hurling a brick that hit the officer in the head.
Wisconsin’s Democrat Governor Tony Evers responded with a series of statements that critics contended amounted to a call of “gentleman start your engines” in terms of encouraging the riots.
Evers began by smearing the police as racist and relentless killers of innocent black men.
“While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country,” Evers began.
Evers continued by claiming – without knowing all of the facts of the encounter – that the police engaged in excessive force.
“And we stand against excessive use of force and immediate escalation when engaging with Black Wisconsinites,” Evers continued.
Finally, Evers took a shot at America herself claiming the nation was racist and irredeemable.
“I have said all along that although we must offer our empathy, equally important is our action. In the coming days, we will demand just that of elected officials in our state who have failed to recognize the racism in our state and our country for far too long,” Evers concluded.
But one night of rioting and mayhem proved too much considering Wisconsin’s importance as a swing state in the 2020 presidential election.
Evers quickly realized how allowing Black Lives Matter rioters to burn a city to the ground would play into Donald Trump’s themes that Democrats tolerate the mob while the President will deliver law and order.
The Governor announced the mobilization of 125 National Guard troops in Kenosha to assist local authorities in putting down the civil unrest.
“I know folks across our state will be making their voices heard in Kenosha and in communities across Wisconsin. Every person should be able to express their anger and frustration by exercising their First Amendment rights and report on these calls to action without any fear of being unsafe,” Governor Evers began.
“This is a limited mobilization of the National Guard focused on supporting the needs of local first responders to protect critical infrastructure, such as utilities and fire stations, and to ensure Kenoshians are able to assemble safely,” Governor Evers concluded.
