Barack Obama covered up Hillary’s crimes.

Director James Comey was forced to testify in front of Congress to explain why he didn’t recommend charges be brought against Hillary Clinton for transmitting classified intelligence over a private server.

But his answers only raised more questions as to why Hillary Clinton wasn’t charged.

Trey Gowdy – who used to work for the FBI – lit into Director Comey for the decision to grant immunity to five Clinton aides and yet still not bring charges in the case.

Real Clear Politics reports:

“Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) questions FBI Director Comey during the House Judiciary hearing titled, “Oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”

“What concerns me Director is when you have five immunity agreements and no prosecution… when you are allowing witnesses who happen to be lawyers sit in on an interview. That is not the FBI that I used to work with,” Gowdy said to Comey on Wednesday.”

Gowdy also appeared on Fox Business Channel’s Sunday Futures program and elaborated on why Hillary should have faced criminal charges.

You can watch the interview below.

Gowdy explained that Hillary’s gross negligence – and not intent – should have been the standard.

By using intent instead of gross negligence, Director Comey effectively rewrote a law which was passed by Congress in order to protect Hillary Clinton.

Even using Director Comey’s standard of intent, leaked emails prove Hillary conspired to evade the law.

Leaked emails from Colin Powell show Hillary got advice from Powell on using her private email to contact foreign leaders.

Fox News reports:

“In his Jan. 23, 2009, response to Clinton, Powell said he used a “personal computer” and a PDA.

The latest release appears to show that Powell acknowledged he exchanged work-related emails with foreign leaders and State Department officials using a personal device. He said the setup allowed him to “bypass the government’s computer network.”

Powell, in a statement issued Thursday, noted that Clinton has already said she was not influenced by his email.

“I was not trying to influence her but just to explain what I had done eight years earlier to begin the transformation of the State Department’s information system,” he said, adding: “I have been interviewed by the State Department IG and the FBI about my actions and decisions.  I stand by my decisions and I am fully accountable.”

Some argue these conversations prove that Hillary intended to evade federal law by setting up a private server.

Gowdy was also asked in the Fox Business interview if he thought political pressure was put on Director Comey to not press charges.

After all, Barack Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton to succeed him, and an indictment would have sunk her campaign.

Gowdy responded that just having to be asked that question says it all.
