Barack Obama and his cronies are sitting on pins and needles waiting for John Durham to complete his criminal investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
Attorney General William Barr strongly hinted that Durham could indict individuals involved with perpetrating this fraud on the American people.
Now Trey Gowdy had some really bad news for Barack Obama about one ally going to prison.
For months, Attorney General William Barr hinted that United States Attorney John Durham was investigating high-ranking Obama Deep State conspirators that tried to frame Donald Trump and his campaign for colluding with the Russians.
Gowdy pointed to anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok as a key figure in this criminal plot and someone Durham would be looking at very closely.
“Keep in mind. Peter Strzok, that I think is now a household name, has his fingerprints on every aspect of this,” Gowdy explained.
Gowdy then detailed the key part Strzok played in all the corrupt FBI machinations in the 2016 campaign.
“From initiating it in the summer of 2016 to the Hillary Clinton investigation to [special counsel Robert] Mueller to interviewing Michael Flynn,” Gowdy added. “So, Peter Strzok would be a name that I would listen for as Durham begins to wind up his work.”
Strzok was involved in the Hillary Clinton email investigation where James Comey cleared Hillary Clinton in order to remove a cloud of scandal over the victory Comey and all of Washington expected to come in November.
In July 2016, Strzok signed off on initiating the Russian collusion investigation despite having no legitimate basis to do so.
Critics contend the FBI used this probe to spy on the Trump campaign on behalf of Barack Obama and the Democrats.
Later, anti-Trump text messages between Strzok and his lover FBI lawyer Lisa Page surfaced where the two referred to the Russia investigation as an “insurance policy” in case Trump won.
Special counsel Robert Mueller fired Strzok from his team after these texts leaked to the press.
Gowdy told the Fox News audience it was important to hold corrupt FBI officials like Strzok accountable because it was the only way restore trust in institutions like the FBI.
“We give law enforcement and our intelligence community these awesome powers that no one else has: the power to indict and arrest and surveil and read emails. And all he [Barr] is asking in return is that you be a good steward and that there be a factual predicate when you investigate, whether it’s a potential president or your neighbor next door,” Gowdy stated.
“When you give power to someone, it is not illegitimate to say, ‘Were you a good steward of those powers?'” Gowdy concluded.
