The latest controversy surrounding “transgender” rights reached a fever pitch when Target decided to welcome men into the women’s bathroom.

So-called “transgenders” are demanding access to whichever bathroom they feel like using, and corporate America is operating as personal enforcers for their agenda.

But when Target chose to permit men in the women’s bathrooms, the tables turned.

Usually, homosexuals and “transgenders” are the ones applying the power of economic boycott to impose their lifestyle on everyday Americans.

When Indiana passed a religious freedom law preventing Christian business owners from being forced to participate in events which violate their deeply held religious beliefs, homosexuals and their corporate-America allies brought down the full weight of economic boycotts to force Indiana to rewrite the law.

And recently, North Carolina passed HB2, the so-called “bathroom bill” which simply states that in public buildings – not privately owned businesses – “transgenders” must use the bathroom associated with the gender on their birth certificate.

The response has been fierce.

Rock stars like Bruce Springsteen have canceled concerts in the state, and the NBA announced that, unless the law is repealed, they will move the 2017 All Star Game out of Charlotte.

Target thought they could get ahead of the social justice warriors and homosexual lobby bullies by publicizing that “transgenders” are welcome to use whatever bathroom they feel like in their stores.

They weren’t counting on traditional Americans rising up and hitting them in their pocketbook.

The American Family Association quickly launched a “Boycott Target” petition, and in less than 24 hours, 250,000 people signed up.

Breitbart News reports on how the #boycotttarget movement exploded across the internet:

“The issue is fostering intense debate, and the original Breitbart News story about the store’s announcement garnered more than 79,000 Facebook shares and more than 45,000 comments in only a few days. Naturally, it was not long before a boycott effort was launched.

Only days after the Target announcement, the American Family Association (AFA) launched its #BoycottTarget petition urging followers to boycott the chain because Target “would allow men to use the women’s restrooms and dressing rooms in their stores.”

The AFA petition proved so popular that it earned more than 200,000 signatures in a single day, AFA said. By the weekend, it had reached an excess of 300,000.

“Corporate America must stop bullying people who disagree with the radical left agenda to remake society into their progressive image,” AFA President Tim Wildmon said on Friday.”

The American Family Association and other critics of gender neutral bathroom policies list safety as their biggest concern.

Sexual predators and mentally ill men are given a free pass into women’s bathrooms.

In fact, in Seattle, a man was arrested for dressing up like a woman and secretly recording women in a Macy’s women’s bathroom.

He was brought to the attention of police by a patron who said there was a woman in their bathroom acting “suspiciously”.

Now, with gender neutral bathrooms, it would be considered discrimination for his actions to set off alarm bells since he has every “right” to be in there.

The “transgender” movement has enjoyed the freedoms of bullying corporate America into catering to their lifestyle choices.

But the Americans who support traditional values have taken a page straight out of the “transgenders” playbook and are fighting back on the economic front.

Will the momentum behind the gender neutral bathroom movement come to a standstill?
