American society is facing massive upheaval and chaos in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
Violent riots rocked American cities and the presidential election was thrown into chaos.
And to top it all off, the NFL got hit with this George Floyd ultimatum that is the final nail in its coffin.
America-hating national anthem protestors seized on the image of a police officer murdering George Floyd by kneeling on his neck to claim the NFL wronged former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick when it refused to support Kaepernick protesting the American flag by taking a knee.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell cut a hostage tape video and groveled for the protestors’ forgiveness.
But that wasn’t good enough.
At a memorial service for George Floyd, professional race-baiter Al Sharpton used the opportunity of a eulogy for Floyd to demand one NFL team resign Kaepernick.
“Don’t come with some empty apology,” he continued. “Take a man’s livelihood, strip a man down of his talents. And four years later when the whole world is marching, all of a sudden you go and do a FaceTime talking about you sorry!” Sharpton began.
Sharpton claimed the only way the NFL could do right by Kaepernick was to give him a contract.
“Minimizing the value of our lives! You sorry? Then repay the damage you did to the career you stood down, because when Colin took a knee, he took it for the families in this building and we don’t want an apology. We want him repaired,” Sharpton concluded.
That same day, “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin argued that not only should an NFL team re-sign Kaepernick, but that Kaepernick was owed back pay for the last three seasons he sat out and that Kaepernick should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
“Well, I don’t — I think he’s not only owed an apology, Whoopi,” Hostin replied. “I think he’s owed his job. I think he’s owed back pay. I think he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. … When you listen to Roger Goodell’s ‘mea culpa,’ he mentions everything,” Hostin stated.
Hostin also blasted Goodell for his embarrassing video where he whimpered and begged for the forgiveness of anti-American protestors by not mentioning Kaepernick by name.
“He says, ‘We were wrong. We should have listened. Athletes in the league are now allowed to take a knee. We support peaceful protests.’ He mentions everything except the man who started … this peaceful protest,” Hostin concluded.
President Trump is not going to let this go.
The President blasted the league on social media for caving to America-hating malcontent millionaires.
If the NFL and its players engage further in this fight, it will send a signal that the NFL league is run by liberals, the game is played by liberals and only liberal fans are welcome.
Sundays at 1pm used to be one of the most unifying aspects of American life.
But thanks to the left’s stance that every institution in America take a stand on political issues, the idea of Americans coming together to cheer on their favorite teams is increasingly looking like a pipe dream.
