The lies that The New York Times is telling are growing worse by the day.
Their outrageous claims against Trump have gone too far.
The New York Times got a shocking call from the FBI that’s deeply disturbing.
It’s been clear for years that the allegations against Trump claiming that the Trump campaign was colluding with the Russians had no evidence to support them.
Attorney General William Barr declassified two FBI documents this week which proved once again that the allegations against Trump were baseless.
One is a memo of the interviews into Christopher Steele’s primary sources which showed that his infamous dossier was unreliable.
“The second is former FBI official Peter Strzok’s annotation of a Feb. 14, 2017 report that said four American officials claimed that authorities had intercepted communications and call logs of Trump advisers speaking with Russian intelligence,” The Daily Caller reported.
The New York Times wrote in February 2017 that Trump associates were allegedly talking with Russian intelligence officers.
And they won’t back down from their claims even though they have been proved factually wrong.
“We stand by our reporting,” New York Times spokeswoman Eileen Murphy said after Barr released the documents.
“This statement is inaccurate and misleading as written,” Strzok wrote in reference to the start of The New York Times story. “We have not seen evidence of any individuals affiliated with the Trump team in contact with [Intelligence Officers].”
Strzok was the FBI’s lead investigator on Crossfire Hurricane, which later morphed into the Mueller investigation, until an affair with a coworker and a number of anti-Trump text messages led to him being thrown off the investigation.
He’s no friend of Trump’s but the Times story went too far even for him.
“The Times story advanced the prevailing narrative at the time that the Trump campaign may have conspired with the Kremlin to influence the 2016 election. The story also hit a day after Michael Flynn resigned as national security adviser because of a scandal involving phone calls he had with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak in December 2016.” The Daily Caller added.
The Times also recently ran a story that claimed that Donald Trump was briefed that Russians were paying the Taliban a bounty for the death of American troops in Afghanistan.
It was later revealed that while the information was in the briefing book, it was unclear if Trump had been given the information verbally since the report was unverified.
The New York Times can’t be considered a serious journalist outlet anymore.
They care more about having the right narrative than they do about getting their facts correct.
The New York Times is nothing more than a propaganda mouthpiece.
