The judiciary has grown in power in alarming ways over the last several decades.

Many Supreme Court rulings have significantly reshaped the way Americans are allowed to live their lives.

And the Supreme Court made one shocking ruling that threw a state into complete chaos.

For decades, leftists have worked to transform the Supreme Court into their failsafe for creating laws that they otherwise couldn’t pass through legislative action.

One of the absurd instances was Roe V. Wade, when the court created a right to abortion from thin air.

The Supreme Court also enshrined gay marriage when the liberal state of California couldn’t even pass it in 2008.

This is why liberals tried so hard to destroy Brett Kavanaugh; they know a conservative majority on the court is a roadblock for their agenda.

The court has been volatile of late, passing down decisions that have taken both liberals and conservatives by surprise.

The court recently smacked down the Democrats over the issue of Donald Trump’s tax returns.

But the court also ruled against job discrimination based on sexual orientation; Trump appointee Neil Gorsuch sided with the liberals and used the bizarre logic that the Civil Rights Act protects homosexuals because men are discriminated against for engaging in the same behavior as women.

Now the Supreme Court made a decision that threw one entire state into turmoil.

Jimcy McGirt, a Native American descendant, was convicted of raping his four-year-old granddaughter, but his defense attorney argued that the heinous crime occurred on an alleged Indian reservation territory in Oklahoma.

Native Americans are not subject to state law on Indian reservations, only tribal and federal law.

McGirt’s defense argued that Creek Nation territory is not actually Oklahoma property due to ambiguous language in a century-old treaty.

Gorsuch again sided with the liberals, and the Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision that a huge swath of Eastern Oklahoma is tribal territory, including Tulsa, the state’s second largest city.

This shocking ruling throws the entire Oklahoma legal system into disarray.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of criminal convictions could be overturned due to this ruling.

It could take years to sort out the madness.

Violent criminals of Native American descent might have to be retried in federal court, which is a nightmare for the justice system.

In a dissenting opinion, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote:

“Across this vast area, the State’s ability to prosecute serious crimes will be hobbled and decades of past convictions could well be thrown out…The Court has profoundly destabilized the governance of eastern Oklahoma…The decision today creates significant uncertainty for the State’s continuing authority over any area that touches Indian affairs, ranging from zoning and taxation to family and environmental law.”

Roberts is, of course, correct.

Litigious liberals will have a field day with this decision and push for similar rulings in other states’ affairs.

This ruling happened with five Republican appointees on the bench.

Imagine the damage the left could do with five rock-solid liberals on the Supreme Court.
