San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, started a game for the first time since he began protesting the national anthem.

Since he began kneeling during the national anthem, Kaepernick became a hero to the left.

But the reaction from patriotic fans was something else.

In the 49ers game against the Buffalo Bills, Kaepernick once again knelt during the national anthem.

Bills fans – disgusted with his disrespect for America and the military – chanted “USA! USA! USA!” and heartily booed the malcontent quarterback.

Kaepernick then whined after the game about being called un-American for refusing to honor America by standing for the national anthem.

The Sporting News reports:

“Kaepernick, assuming his old post as starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, was showered with boos as he led the offense on to the field to start Sunday’s matchup with the Bills. When he kneeled for the national anthem, joined by teammates Eric Reid and Eli Harold, chants of “U-S-A, U-S-A” broke out amongst the New Era Field crowd.

By the end of the game, a landslide 45-16 win for the Bills, Kaepernick defended his protest against racial injustice and police brutality that soon will enter its third month.

“I don’t understand what’s un-American about fighting for justice and liberty for everybody,” he told reporters in response to the hostile reaction from some fans.”

Kaepernick’s play on the field was no better than his tone deaf response to being called un-American.

The 49ers were routed by the Bills 45-16, and his play deteriorated as the game wore on.

He completed only 13 of 29 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown.

49ers coach, Chip Kelly, would not commit to starting the mediocre Kaepernick in the next game.

During the pregame tailgates, Bills fans let it be known how much they despised Kaepernick and his protests.

T-shirts criticizing the quarterback for his anthem protests were sold in the parking lot.

And Bills fans set up a Kaepernick tackling dummy they could take out their frustrations on.

It was a bad day for Kaepernick and his fellow anti-American travelers.
