Joe Biden’s declaration that he was President-elect hit a major roadblock.
No one saw this coming.
And this one shocking killing was bad news for Joe Biden.
After the media declared Joe Biden the President-elect Biden began acting the part.
That meant rolling out cabinet officials and laying the groundwork for foreign and domestic policy agenda for a potential Biden administration.
When Biden named Washington swamp hack and career failure Tony Blinken as his Secretary of State nominee it was obvious that if Biden becomes President he will try and run back the Obama administration foreign policy which included trying to re-enter the disastrous Iran nuclear deal.
Israel worried that Biden would begin appeasing Iran and allegedly took the unprecedented step of killing the founder of Iran’s nuclear weapons program Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in an ambush in Iran.
The New York Times exclusively reported:
Iran’s top nuclear scientist, who American and Israeli intelligence have long charged was behind secret programs to design an atomic warhead, was shot and killed in an ambush on Friday as he was traveling in a vehicle in northern Iran, Iranian state media reported.
The scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, believed to be 59, has been considered the driving force behind Iran’s nuclear weapons program for two decades, and continued to work after the main part of the effort was quietly disbanded in the early 2000s, according to American intelligence assessments and Iranian nuclear documents stolen by Israel.
Israel trying to kneecap Iran’s ability to build a nuclear weapon will cripple a potential President Joe Biden’s chances of recreating the Iran nuclear deal as Iran will not hold out for even greater concessions.
Biden would hand the Iranian government almost anything as when he was Vice President the Obama administration flew pallets of cash to Iran as a reward for agreeing to a deal that put Iran on a glide path to acquire a nuclear weapon.
The New York Times reported, “Israel has long opposed the nuclear deal, and if its agents were indeed responsible for the killing of a man considered a national hero, there could be political pressure in Iran to move forward with its current effort to gradually rebuild the stockpile of nuclear fuel that it gave up in 2015.”
Critics of the Iran nuclear deal contend that Iran was always cheating on the deal in the first place and now their defiance will be out in the open.
Biden’s inclination is to appease Iran and re-enter the Iran nuclear deal.
That will be politically impossible if Iran is gearing up to acquire a nuclear weapon.
And it will also mean that Donald Trump’s lasting legacy will be ending Barack Obama’s policy of appeasement towards Iran and charting an irreversible course for the United States to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
