The Democrats are willing to go to insane lengths to stop Amy Coney Barrett from being confirmed.

But it could be a terrible risk.

Nancy Pelosi’s attack on Trump stopped when she saw the personal cost.

The Democrats seem to think that they have unlimited power despite the fact that they don’t have control of either the presidency or the Senate and there are increasingly fewer moderates among their number.

Their leadership can’t seem to grasp the fact that Americans don’t like their insanity.

President Donald Trump became more popular and broke fundraising records when Nancy Pelosi decided to impeach him without justification as a political maneuver.

Yet Pelosi told ABC last week in reference to impeaching Trump,“Well, we have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now.”

In fact, Pelosi said that she could impeach Trump “every day of the week for anything he does.”

Pelosi can’t impeach Trump for whatever reason she wants. She has to prove that he committed a crime.

There’s nothing realistically that the Democrats can do to stop the nomination.

“We’re very clear eyed, our tools are limited,” Senator Richard Blumenthaltold reporters. “We have no magic panacea, right?”

The radical solutions that the Democrats are thinking of unleashing would only hurt themselves.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said Wednesday that he would move to remove Nancy Pelosi if she tries to impeach Trump.

“I will make you this one promise, listening to the speaker on television this weekend, if she tries to move for an impeachment based upon the president following the Constitution, I think there will be a move on the floor to no longer, or the question of her being Speaker,” McCarthy said, adding, “She may think she has a quiver — we do too.”

Trump responded on “Fox & Friends” that he believes Republicans would win their November elections if Pelosi was unwise to impeach him.

“I heard yesterday, I heard if I do it, if I do it, they’re going to impeach me. So they’re impeaching me for doing what I constitutionally have to do,” Trump said Monday. “Here’s the thing … and I think then we win the election, then we win all elections if they do that. You saw what happened the last time, my numbers went way up last time they did it … if they do, my numbers will go up. I think we’ll win the entire election. I think we’ll win the House. I think we’re going to win back the House, I really do. I think we’re going to win the House anyway.”

Nancy Pelosi needs to realize that she is limited by the laws of the land; if she tries more underhanded methods of stopping Trump from fulfilling his constitutional duties, she’ll only hurt herself and Democrats.
