Nancy Pelosi’s tenure as Speaker of the House is facing a new crisis.
But this time Pelosi’s problems are of her own making.
And now Nancy Pelosi may be removed as Speaker over one serious health issue.
Georgia Congressman Doug Collins finds the manner in which Nancy Pelosi carries out her duties as Speaker of the House disturbing.
Speaker Pelosi became disoriented and agitated after Blitzer asked her a simple question about why Pelosi would not accept the Trump administration’s compromise offer of 1.8 trillion dollars in coronavirus relief.
Collins reacted the following day by introducing a resolution to remove Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House citing her erratic behavior.
“Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unwillingness to abide by the Constitution, combined with her recent actions, call into question her own mental fitness, which is why it’s critical that the House of Representatives demand her removal from the line of succession,” Collins declared in a statement sent to Fox News.
“Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unwillingness to abide by the Constitution, combined with her recent actions, call into question her own mental fitness, which is why it’s critical that the House of Representatives demand her removal from the line of succession,” the resolution read.
In the resolution, Collins cited examples of Pelosi’s increasingly erratic behavior as evidence she should be removed from power.
“Over her tenure of her speakership, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has started to demonstrate a decline in mental fitness, calling into question her ability to adequately serve the House of Representatives and the American people,” the resolution states.
Collins cited a TV interview where Pelosi “appeared confused and exhibited bizarre behavior” by “blurting out randomly ‘Good Morning, Sunday morning.’”
Over the last several years Pelosi exhibited multiple examples of what critics describe as brain freeze where Pelosi stumbles over her words.
Congressman Collins is raising the issue of Pelosi’s mental competency because she is third in line for presidential succession.
America is in the middle of a pandemic and President Trump’s recent hospitalization made it all the more necessary to make sure America has the most stable continuity of government plan possible.
But that is impossible with a mentally deteriorating Nancy Pelosi clutching the Speaker’s gavel.
The simplest way to remove Nancy Pelosi as Speaker is for Americans to vote Democrats out of power in November and put Republicans in the majority.
But Congressman Collins does not think America can wait that long to remove Nancy Pelosi from power.
And many Americans agree as they watch Nancy Pelosi decline before their very eyes.
