The famed hacker, Guccifer 2.0, has struck again.

He’s just released new documents.

And the leak is creating a new political headache for Hillary Clinton.

Guccifer 2.0 released new documents that show Big Banks that received TARP bailout money donated a percentage of the funds back to the Clinton Foundation, as well as to other Democrats.

Was this payback for Hillary supporting the TARP bailout?

Was it a down payment on future influence peddling?

When the Clintons are involved, no theory can be taken off the table.

At the time of the release, Guccifer 2.0 authored a blog post claiming the documents were obtained through a hack of the Clinton Foundation:

“Many of you have been waiting for this, some even asked me to do it.

So, this is the moment. I hacked the Clinton Foundation server and downloaded hundreds of thousands of docs and donors’ databases.

Hillary Clinton and her staff don’t even bother about the information security. It was just a matter of time to gain access to the Clinton Foundation server.”

However, Donna Shalala, President of the Clinton Foundation, said there was no evidence of a hack.

However, many people who examined the documents quickly determined that the true source was the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

But while the media focused on where the documents came from, and called them a “hoax” because they are not from the Clinton Foundation, it does not mean the documents aren’t real.

The Hill reports:

A spot check of some of the people on the donor list against FEC filings found that they all lined up with DCCC contributions.

The Clinton Foundation discloses its donors, and many of the alleged donors published by Guccifer 2.0 do not appear to have given to the organization.

One spreadsheet was allegedly created by a Kevin C. McKeon at DCCC in 2009. There was a Kevin McKeon that worked at DCCC at that time.

The Clinton Foundation says it has no evidence it was the victim of an attack — and denied that any of the file folders depicted exist on Foundation systems…

…But last month he published a spate of files he claimed were stolen from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that in fact appeared to be repurposed from the DCCC hack.

Those documents also appeared to be consistent with what Guccifer 2.0 would have found on the DCCC server. Only one document concerned Pelosi, a “year in review” memo about fundraising numbers — the kinds of donation statistics that would likely be shared with the DCCC.

Is the media fussing over the source of the documents to discredit the shady quid-pro-quo revealed in their contents?

Why was so much TARP money donated back to Hillary and other Democrats?

That is the question that should be investigated.
