Democrats thought they were all set to certify the vote in Michigan.
But there’s a key piece of information they were missing.
Joe Biden was crushed to receive this piece of shocking news out of Michigan.
The process to certify the vote in Michigan’s most populous county has not gone smoothly.
The initial vote to certify Wayne county’s vote resulted in 2-2 gridlock with two Republicans refusing to certify the vote.
The two Republicans were accused of being racist and one even had her address doxed, and the address of her children’s school revealed online.
Monica Palmer, one of the two GOP members of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers said on Fox News that Ned Staebler, a Michigan businessman, published her personal information online.
“He’s used his social media platform to repeatedly dox me, post my phone number, my home address, my email address, and encouraged people to stop by my house and share their anger with me,” Palmer said.
The Republicans certified the election results but say that they voted under pressure and also because of false promises.
“In affidavits signed on Wednesday evening, the two GOP members of the four-member Wayne County Board of Canvassers allege that they were improperly pressured into certifying the election and accused Democrats of reneging on a promise to audit votes in Detroit,” The Washington Post reported.
But Democrats are claiming that it is too late for them to rescind their votes.
Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer was even making veiled threats towards Republicans.
“This is an embarrassment to the state, and it’s an effort to disenfranchise the most populous county in our state, which by the way, is the county that is home to the most largest African-American part of our population. This has so many ramifications, many legal, many ethical. I would advise anyone to tread very carefully because there could be much longer-term problems for anyone who participates in an effort to undermine the election by a candidate who was on that ballot.” Whitmer said on MSNBC.
It disenfranchises votes when voter fraud occurs but that doesn’t seem to make Whitmer concerned.
Boards went up over windows while votes were counted in Detroit after there were allegations that there were an uneven number of Republican and Democrats poll watchers.
“We need more transparency, not less.” the Trump campaign said.
The Democrats don’t want transparency and they aren’t willing for there to be an audit of the ballots.
If the Democrats want to show Republicans that the election was correct they should welcome audits.
Instead they’re trying to use intimidation tactics against anyone who gets in their way.
