The Democrats are frantically trying to retract everything they said four years ago.

They’ll do anything to hold onto their power.

Joe Biden is deeply regretting these two words he said on the Supreme Court.

The Democrats have become comfortable with a Supreme Court that leaned heavily to the left.

The Supreme Court has made huge legislative changes in America especially on the issue of abortion, and Obamacare which is not the way the Founding Fathers designed the court to operate.

If a change of law is needed, either a constitutional amendment needs to be passed or it should be decided on the state level.

We need good judges on the Supreme Court that will make sure that the Democrats stay within the limits of the Constitution.

The death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday has thrown the left into mourning because Trump has the power to appoint yet another Supreme Court seat.

Democratic nominee Joe Biden told Republican senators on Sunday that they have a constitutional duty not to vote for Trump’s nominee.

“Uphold your constitutional duty, your conscience,” said Biden, speaking in Pennsylvania. “Let the people speak. Cool the flames that have engulfed our country.”

Yet four years ago, Biden was saying exactly the opposite.

In 2016 when Justice Antonin Scalia suddenly died, the Democrats wanted the Republican Senate to act quickly.

“The president has the constitutional duty to nominate; the Senate has the constitutional obligation to provide advice and consent,” Biden wrote in a New York Times op-ed in 2016.

“It is written plainly in the Constitution that both presidents and senators swear an oath to uphold and defend,” he wrote. “That’s why I was so surprised and saddened to see Republican leaders tell President Obama and me that they would not even consider a Supreme Court nominee this year. No meetings. No hearings. No votes. Nothing. It is an unprecedented act of obstruction. And it risks a stain on the legacy of all those complicit in carrying out this plan.”

Joe Biden went on at length about the need to refill the Supreme Court seat quickly.

In a speech at Georgetown University, Biden also said: “I would go forward with a confirmation process as chairman, even a few months before a presidential election, if the nominee were chosen with the advice, and not merely the consent, of the Senate, just as the Constitution requires.”

The Democrats try to pretend that they’ve got the moral and legal high ground but there’s no legal law that the Republicans are breaking and there is also historical precedent for their actions both now and in 2016.

The Democrats are the ones that tried the most underhanded tactic of all time, trying to ruin Brett Kavanaugh through extremely flimsy rape charges just to derail his confirmation.

The Republican Senate should act quickly to confirm Donald Trump’s nominee.
