The 2020 election is one of the closest elections in American history.

It’s nothing like what the Democrats were hoping for.

Donald Trump made a stunning statement about the election results.

Democrats didn’t get the election night win that they were looking for.

A number of states are very close in their results.

There are already calls for recounts in a number of close swing states on both sides.

President Donald Trump commented how suspicious it was that a number of states stopped recording their numbers in the middle of the night.

“And all of a sudden everything just stopped,” Trump said. “This is a fraud on the American public. This is an embarrassment to our country.”

“So our goal now is to ensure the integrity for the good of this nation, this is a very big moment. This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in the proper manner,” Trump continued. “So we will be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4 o’clock in the morning and add them to the list. OK? It’s a very sad, it’s a very sad moment.”

The Trump campaign has filed lawsuits in Pennsylvania and Michigan and is asking for a recount of Wisconsin.

“Despite ridiculous public polling used as a voter suppression tactic, Wisconsin has been a razor thin race as we always knew that it would be,” Bill Stepien, Trump 2020 campaign manager, said in a statement.

“There have been reports of irregularities in several Wisconsin counties which raise serious doubts about the validity of the results. The President is well within the threshold to request a recount and we will immediately do so.”

However,Wisconsin’s Gov. Scott Walker who has been a Trump supporter in the past wasn’t optimistic about a recount.

“If it holds, 20,000 is a high hurdle,” the Republican Governor wrote on Twitter.

“After recount in 2011 race for WI Supreme Court, there was a swing of 300 votes. After recount in 2016 Presidential race in WI, @realDonaldTrump numbers went up by 131,” Walker said. “As I said, 20,000 is a high hurdle.”

In a year where there have been huge changes to the voting system, it’s important to make sure that the democratic process has not been tampered with in any way that could undermine the election’s results.

It’s important that every valid vote be counted and that no invalid votes have been slipped in.

There needs to be transparency and an investigation so that the American people are able to feel confident that there was no foul play or errors in tallying up the election results.
