It’s well known that Hillary Clinton and the DNC are at the bottom of the Russian collusion hoax.

But another big Washington player could also be involved.

Devin Nunes exposed one organization that needs to be investigated right now.

The BrookingsInstitution is one of the most preeminent think tanks in America.

While the media describes the BrookingsInstitution as “centrist,” 96 of its employees’ political donations go to Democrats.

It is the most cited think tank among politicians and has had a major influence on policy decisions over the course of its 104-year history.

Brookings helped form the United Nations, the Marshall Plan, and the Congressional Budget Office.

But while they claim to be nonpartisan in their research, Devin Nunes thinks that they may have helped Steele create his dossier.

“I think this would be a major part of this story if indeed one of the major think tanks in this country, in this city, was involved in the dossier,” Rep. Devin Nunes said on Fox News.

The Steele dossier, which has now been completely discredited, started off the whole investigation into Trump’s supposed collusion with Russia.

Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said that the former president of the Brookings Institution, Strobe Talbott, was “involved in this dossier.”

“In a defamation case in London, Steele said Talbott, a former State Department official, offered him ‘advice’ and asked for a copy of his dossier in 2016 to discuss with officials at the State Department, as reported by the Daily Caller. The Democrat-funded dossier, which contained unverified allegations of ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, was used by the FBI to obtain warrants to wiretap a one-time adviser on the Trump team, shared among journalists and politicians alike, and published by BuzzFeed in January 2017,” the Washington Examiner reported.

Talbott is also a personal friend of the Clintons and served as deputy secretary of state in the Clinton administration.

“Mr. Talbott telephones Mr. Steele out of the blue in August 2016, having heard about his work and offers advice if needed,” Steele’s lawyer claimed.

The Steele dossier was used as justification to wiretap Carter Page who formerly worked as a Trump campaign aide.

“Strobe Talbott is someone who I had long known and respected,” Page said.

“The new evidence revealing that he and his colleagues from the Brookings Institution got involved in this severe election interference campaign with the DNC-funded Dodgy Dossier truly shocks the conscience.”

Unverified accusations of foreign interference shouldn’t be used for political attacks, so it is important that the Brookings Institution is investigated and that any connection in helping create the Steele dossier is uncovered.
