Barack Obama schemed to fundamentally transform America.

He put one policy in place after another that was designed to damage America.

But now he can’t believe what Donald Trump just did.

Trump was elected to undo Obama’s anti-American legacy.

The President has made good on rolling back large chucks of Obama’s regulatory agenda.

And that includes net neutrality – the Obama era government takeover of the internet.

The media and their liberal allies praised these Stalinist rules which dictate how internet service providers must provide content.

After President Trump appointed the majority of FCC commissioners, a majority voted last December to repeal this big government power grab.

The media freaked out.

CNN even declared it “the end of the internet as we know it.”

But Obama only imposed net neutrality in 2015.

Americans didn’t suffer any disruptions or poor internet service before then.

There were uprisings in the streets over internet service providers throttling the connection speed to certain websites.

That didn’t stop the left from losing their minds over the move.

Mairead McArdle writes on National Review:

“Media outlets have raised the alarm about the repeal of net neutrality, which took effect on Monday.

Federal Communications Commission chairman Ajit Pai initially introduced the Restoring Internet Freedom Order, which repeals the Obama-era Open Internet Order net-neutrality rules. It was passed by a vote of the FCC in December.

The “internet as we know it may not exist,” CNET said on Monday as the repeal took effect.

“Net neutrality is officially dead today, but the fight to revive it lives on, ” TechCrunch declared.

The “end of the Internet as we know it,” read the main headline on after December’s vote.

Net neutrality imposed heavy regulations on Internet-service providers, classifying them as public utilities. Critics said that the rules choked companies like popular streaming services by regulating how they present content to consumers. Those pushing for the rules argued that control of the Internet should not be left to the whims of private companies.”
