Dr. Fauci, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats want the economic shutdowns to go on indefinitely.

They are counting on one law to keep the economy on lockdown but Donald Trump just destroyed it.

Now all hell broke loose when Trump made a decision that sidelined Dr. Fauci.

Over 38 million people have lost their jobs because of the coronavirus outbreak.

That is a staggering number; America hasn’t seen those kinds of numbers since the Great Depression.

Now that the data shows that states cansafely reopen and their numbers are going down, most places in the country should be reopening.

The current concern for economists is that many of those jobs will never come back and will be permanent losses.

But so-called “experts” like Dr. Fauci are constantly trying to undermine the reopening with scary stories and apocalyptic predictions.

The restaurant and travel businesses have taken such a hit that it will take time for them to ever recover.

While millions of people are desperate to return to work, others are reluctant because they are making more money on unemployment than they would make at their jobs.

“Under the ‘Phase 3’ economic stimulus package passed in March, also known as the CARES Act, Congress provided $250 billion to extend unemployment insurance to more workers, and lengthen the duration to 39 weeks, up from the normal 26 weeks,” Fox News wrote.“The provision allowed for an extra $600 to be provided a week for four months to those losing their jobs amid the crisis.”

Under these new guidelines, roughly half of American workers would receive more on unemployment than if they go back to their jobs.

“Economists Peter Ganong, Pascal Noel and Joseph Vavra at the University of Chicago estimate that most workers recently added to unemployment rolls are receiving more money in weekly checks from the government than they were making at their jobs, according to their report,” The Daily Wire’s Tim Pearcewrote. “The disparity may lead to widespread economic consequences as employers attempt to restart small businesses that have been shut down for a month or more.”

Nancy Pelosi is fighting to extend these unemployment benefits, but having people make more on unemployment doesn’t make sense.

People shouldn’t be destitute because the government took away their jobs with their stay-at-home orders, but they shouldn’t be making more money either.

The American government will have to repay the loans it has taken out.

Long-term, the American people will have to repay the money to the government that they’re getting right now.

Which is why the Trump administration said it will stop unemployment benefits for people who stay at home despite having a valid job offer.

“If you offer a person a job…and that person does not take the job..then that person would not be allowed to get unemployment,” Mnuchin said Tuesday.

As a nation, we cannot afford to pay people to sit at home.

The risk of dying from the coronavirus for any working-age person is incredibly small.

If America wants to keep our health system intact and have the resources to protect the weak and the vulnerable among us in America, we need to get back to work as fast as possible.
