For years, leakers have schemed to bring down Donald Trump.

One just had his day in court.

And a judge just paved the way for William Barr to jail this Deep State leaker.

The Justice Department asked U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth to slap a temporary restraining order on the publisher of John Bolton’s anti-Trump book to prevent its publishing.

While the judge declined – citing the fact that Bolton’s book already leaked all over Washington – this was hardly a victory for Bolton.

“While Bolton’s unilateral conduct raises grave national security concerns, the government has not established that an injunction is an appropriate remedy,” Lamberth declared. “The damage is done.”

But Judge Lamberth concluded his opinion criticizing Bolton in such harsh terms that the final result could be the government clawing back any profits Bolton makes off the book and throwing him in jail.

“Defendant Bolton has gambled with the national security of the United States. He has exposed his country to harm and himself to civil (and potentially criminal) liability,” Judge Lamberth concluded.

President Trump celebrated the ruling on social media and hinted that hard times were ahead for John Bolton.

“BIG COURT WIN against Bolton. Obviously, with the book already given out and leaked to many people and the media, nothing the highly respected Judge could have done about stopping it,” the President began.

President Trump added, “BUT, strong & powerful statements & rulings on MONEY & on BREAKING CLASSIFICATION were made. Bolton broke the law and has been called out and rebuked for so doing, with a really big price to pay. He likes dropping bombs on people, and killing them. Now he will have bombs dropped on him!”

John Bolton now stands as the most hated man in Washington.

Democrats fumed because Bolton refused to testify in the impeachment hoax and instead saved his biggest “revelations” for a book to make money.

Republicans think Bolton is a disloyal swamp rat that sold out the President just months before the election.

If Bolton thought his book would take down President Trump, it ended up being a flop.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed Bolton peddled falsehoods and also blasted the former National Security Advisor as a “traitor.”

Judge Lamberth seemed to agree.

Bolton could hardly count allowing his book to be published as a victory after the judge ripped Bolton for harming national security and rushing to publish his book before it could be completely reviewed to see if it contained classified information.

If the review finds Bolton’s book does contain classified information, Judge Lamberth all but invited the Department of Justice to pursue criminal charges.
