President Trump has been working diligently in the past few months to prevent terrorist attacks from occurring in the United States.

Trump’s executive orders banning the immigration of certain countries to the United States not only affected illegal immigration, but has prevented a major terrorist attack by ISIS from being carried out on American soil.

While the political left is avidly against the travel restrictions Trump advocated for, another unlikely source is speaking his mind about the matter – but as the world’s top terror leader, his credibility on the matter is completely lacking.

Iran denounced President Trump’s travel ban, calling it a “shameful exhibition”.

The message was relayed in a tweet by Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.

The Daily Caller reports:

“US now bans Iranian grandmothers from seeing their grandchildren, in a truly shameful exhibition of blind hostility to all Iranians,” said Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in a Twitter post Friday.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo is concerned about the hold Iran has over the terrorist sects of the world.

He considers Iran to be the world’s foremost sponsor of terrorism across the globe, which he recently revealed in an interview to MSNBC News.

The Daily Caller reports:

CIA Director Mike Pompeo warned Iran continues to be the world’s foremost sponsor of terrorism across the globe during an interview on MSNBC on Saturday. He noted the Islamic Republic’s influence in the Middle East “has expanded considerably” in the last six or seven years.

“Whether it’s the influence they have over the government in Baghdad, whether it’s the increasing strength of Hezbollah and Lebanon, their work alongside the Houthis in Iran, the Iraqi Shias that are fighting along now the border in Syria — certainly the Shia forces that are engaged in Syria. Iran is everywhere throughout the Middle East,” said Pompeo.

Trump’s travel ban went into partial effect last week after resistance from the left delayed the legislation.

The issue was even heard by the Supreme Court, who finally decided to overrule lower court rulings preventing enforcement of the travel ban.

The new travel order is meant to protect those within the United States from terrorist attacks that are frequently occurring in countries with open border policies. Europe is one such country that has felt the effects of the terrorist regime, undergoing dozens of attacks within even the past year, and losing innocent civilians and children in the aftermath of terror.

The Daily Caller reports:

The new measure will require those traveling from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen to prove a “bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.”

Visa applicants will have to prove a relationship with a parent, spouse, child, adult son or daughter, daughter or son in law or sibling in the U.S. in order to claim exemption, according to an Associated Press report. Individuals with significant business ties will also be allowed to apply for exemption, including students and journalists.

Despite what the leaders of the terrorist-laced Iranian government believe, the travel ban ensures the safety of the American people, which is President Trump’s priority.
