President Trump has arguably revolutionized the presidency in a way that is benefiting American citizens.

Not only has his main priority been to protect Americans, but also to push policies that benefit the job market, ensure constitutional rights, and protect life.

But Trump has also modernized his role as commander-in-chief by using social media as a platform in which he can directly communicate with the people – and his allies are totally in support of his tweeting.

The political left, especially the liberal media outlets, are accusing Trump of being petty in his use of Twitter as a political platform, and that it is inappropriate for the President to use social media.

But Trump’s allies appreciate having a direct link to the President, and the opportunity to understand his viewpoints on issues.

Most recently his use of Twitter was called into question after an abrasive tweet against a liberal news franchise – which is not unusual for the outspoken commander-in-chief.

The Daily Caller reported:

President Donald Trump continues to be “modern day presidential” and use his Twitter account to attack cable news hosts. This strategy is endorsed by several key allies of the administration.

The president caused an uproar on Thursday when he said that “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski was bleeding at Mar a Lago after receiving a “face lift.” The tweet was not out of the ordinary for Trump, who uses the social media platform frequently to dish out personal attacks.

But Trump’s allies are speaking out in support of his tweeting, claiming it as a positive change to how political news is typically relayed.

The Daily Caller reported:

Former Trump adviser Sam Nunberg told The Daily Caller that he is a fan of the president’s Twitter habits for the same reason.

“The president uses Twitter as a tool to speak over the media echo chamber and directly engage his supporters,” Nunberg said. “The reality is that his opponents hate it because it works.”

In practice, the president’s tweets reach the public because according to White House press secretary Sean Spicer they are “official statements,” and thus get covered widely by the press.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders stood by the tweets and said that Trump “fights fire with fire,” and in a tweet Saturday Trump declared that his “use of social media is not Presidential – it’s MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL.”

President Trump often uses Twitter to debunk fake news stories – ensuring the American people are not left in the dark when concerned with important political matters the left often misconstrue to benefit their profit margin.

The Daily Caller reported:

This tweet came after he wrote that the “FAKE &; FRAUDULENT NEWS MEDIA is working hard to convince Republicans and others I should not use social media.” Trump added, “but remember, I won the 2016 election with interview, speeches, and social media. I had to beat #FakeNews, and did.”
