Nancy PelosiThe Democrats’ investigations into Donald Trump reached a fever pitch.

Nancy Pelosi and her allies are on a search and destroy mission against the President.

But Trey Gowdy crushed Nancy Pelosi’s dreams with a reality check that left her stewing with rage.

Democrats are desperate to revive their impeachment push.

Nancy Pelosi and her allies were sure Robert Mueller and his Democrat prosecutors would deliver the kill shot to Donald Trump’s Presidency when they released the findings of their two year-long witch hunt.

But Mueller came up empty-handed with no charges for Russian collusion and no findings on obstruction of justice.

That left Democrats trying to conjure up reasons to impeach the President without antagonizing the American public which was firmly against removing the President.

The Mueller report was supposed to open the eyes of the American people to the “reality” that Donald Trump was a criminal.

But that roll of the dice came up snake eyes.

Appearing on Fox News Channel’s weekend program, “Your World”, former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy taunted the Democrats for the dilemma they created for themselves.

“This has been a disaster from day one and I don’t expect that to change,” Gowdy declared on Fox News.

Gowdy continued mocking House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler for botching the Democrats’ messaging on impeachment.

“You talk about mishandling something from day one, Nadler has mishandled — I mean, if we are debating nomenclature between an impeachment inquiry and an impeachment investigation, they’ve already lost,” Gowdy added.

Finally, Gowdy zinged the Democrats over Robert Mueller’s confused and bizarre testimony before the House Judiciary Committee.

“That was catatonic. I mean that was pathetic,” Gowdy mocked.

But Democrats were determined to proceed with their farce.

Congressman Nadler appeared on Brian Lehrer’s WNYC radio show and told the host that Democrats had no real grounds to impeach the President.

Instead, Nadler essentially claimed the Democrats had to vote on articles of impeachment just because.

“In my personal opinion, impeachment is imperative not because he’s going to be removed from office — the Senate won’t do that — but because we have to vindicate the Constitution,” Nadler told Lehrer. “We have to show that the kind of self-dealing enrichment that this president is engaged in … that the kind of public corruption he’s been involved in, that the kind of obstruction of justice that the Mueller report documented — five instances of which met all the requirements for an indictment and the president would have been indicted for those five instances had the Justice Department not had a policy of not indicting presidents no matter what — we have to show that this kind of behavior … cannot be normalized.”

As Gowdy made clear, the impeachment push descended into farce.

The Democrats have nothing on President Trump.

Instead, Congressional Democrats are left holding circus hearings and trying to make lemonade out of lemons.
