A scandalous police report exposed a shocking secret of a rising star of the Democrat Party.

It revealed his double life.

This top Democrat is leaving politics for good. He got caught at a crime scene.

The Democrats like to make it a huge deal when any Republican puts a toe out of line.

But the mainstream media have quietly tried to brush aside and ignore it as much as possible.

They have been kind enough to overlook Hunter Biden’s many drug-related offenses.

Including when a cocaine pipe was found in his car just days before the presidential election.

Now the mainstream media is helping play defense for Democrats’ drug habits yet again.

According to CBS News, Andrew Gillum, who only narrowly lost the race to be Florida’s governor, was “found by police officers ‘inebriated’ in a South Beach hotel room, alongside another man who may have overdosed on crystal methamphetamine.”

They assume without question that Gillum’s assertion that he was drinking and not doing drugs is in fact the correct version of events.

The police report says that he was intoxicated with an unknown substance and that there were three bags of crystal meth found in the room.

Despite the media’s attempt to sugarcoat his behavior, Andrew Gillum still knows that his career is over.

Instead of being governor, he’s going to rehab.

According to the Daily Wire:

Former Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum (D-FL), who narrowly lost a 2018 governor’s race to Republican Ron DeSantis, announced Sunday he plans to leave politics for the “foreseeable future” and seek treatment for alcohol dependency.

“This has been a wake-up call for me,” said Gillum in a written statement Sunday, according to Politico. “Since my race for governor ended, I fell into a depression that has led to alcohol abuse. I witnessed my father suffer from alcoholism and I know the damaging effects it can have when untreated. I also know that alcoholism is often a symptom of deeper struggles.”

“I will be stepping down from all public facing roles for the foreseeable future,” revealed Gillum, reports NBC News. “I want to apologize to my family, friends and the people of Florida who have supported me and put their faith in me over the years.”

According to The Tallahassee Democrat, following his failed governor’s race Gillum was employed as a contributor at CNN, where he made his television commentary debut alongside former presidential candidate John Kasich (R-OH).

Anyone struggling with addiction should seek help.

The problem is that Gillum is looking to shift the blame to others in his statement.

He thinks his problem is the fault of his father or because of losing the race.

One of the AA 12 steps is to make a “searching and fearless moral inventory.”

Until Andrew Gillum takes personal responsibility for his problems he isn’t going to get anywhere.

The Democrats don’t have the power to clear away his sins even though they try to play God.

It’s again as AA says, he must look to a higher power to restore him to sanity.
