For several years Bush has been notably quiet about his successor.

There’s something admirable in his quiet attitude towards Obama. Sure, he knows the man’s making mistakes. But unlike Obama, who looks only to blame his failed policies on others, Bush doesn’t need to constantly place blame… all he has to do is just sit back and let Obama implode on his own.

Except Bush can remain silent no longer.

Bush has watched Obama thoroughly mishandle both ISIS and Iran and finally had to call Obama out for the error of his ways.

Meeting with high level Jewish donors, Bush took the President to task and said his foreign policy is a colossal failure.

The former President said he has no immediate plans to enter the political fray. But he did want to go on record to say Obama has been naive when it comes to Iran and ISIS.

At he Republican Jewish Coalition session, held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, one of the sessions attendees wrote down what Bush said.

He said Bush noted Obama has placed America on a global retreat. He too relayed Bush has accused Obama of being deceived by Iran in regards to the ownership of Nuclear weapons. Bush said for Obama to begin relaxing sanctions is a mistake and is being down without consideration of Iran’s historic opposition to U.S. and Israel.

Part of this transcript was in reference Bush speaking on Iran’s new president, Hassan Rouhani. “He’s smooth,” Bush said. “And you’ve got to ask yourself, is there a new policy or did they just change the spokesman?”

Furthermore Bush said Obama was deluded in thinking the way he plans to work with sanctioning Iran could possibly work He said that to imagine sanctions could just return to what they were before they were lifted is just not doable. He then mentioned for Obama to make these kinds of appeasements will actually threaten the security of the U.S.  Bush said “You think the Middle East is chaotic now? Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. That’s how Americans should view the deal.”

Bloomberg News said that when it came to ISIS, Bush really had a field day with Obama.

They wrote:

Bush then went into a detailed criticism of Obama’s policies in fighting the Islamic State and dealing with the chaos in Iraq. On Obama’s decision to withdraw all U.S. troops in Iraq at the end of 2011, he quoted Senator Lindsey Graham calling it a “strategic blunder.”

Bush signed an agreement with the Iraqi government to withdraw those troops, but the idea had been to negotiate a new status of forces agreement to keep U.S. forces there past 2011. The Obama administration tried and failed to negotiate such an agreement.

Bush said he views the rise of the Islamic State as al-Qaeda’s “second act” and that they may have changed the name but that murdering innocents is still the favored tactic.

He defended his own administration’s handling of terrorism, noting that the terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who confessed to killing Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, was captured on his watch: “Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearl’s throat is in Gitmo, and now they’re doing it on TV.”

As Bush noted Obama has “dropped the ball” on ISIS.

He once promised to both “degrade and destroy” ISIS but he hasn’t done one meaningful thing to make that happen.

Bush said that as the Commander in Chief, you have to take your military and use them like you mean it. “You call in your military and say ‘What’s your plan?’ ”

Referencing how he helped contain terrorists elements he said. “When the plan wasn’t working in Iraq, we changed.”

What he knows, and what most of America knows is, Obama has sold us out.

One can only hope it’s not too late to change the tides of time.
