House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stepped in it again.

Pelosi’s latest gaffe came at the expense of one of the Democrats’ most reliable allies.

Nancy Pelosi is in huge trouble. She’s about to lose this big fight.

Nancy Pelosi was looking for attention when she tore up a copy of Trump’s State of the Union speech.

When Nancy Pelosi was asked why she tore up the speech she said, “Because it was the courteous thing to do.”

If that’s what she’s like when she’s being courteous she must be an absolute nightmare when she’s having a bad day.

The truth of the matter is that there is hardly anything less courteous she could do at the State of the Union.

It was a calculated action on Nancy Pelosi’s part, she can be seen making small rips in Trump’s speech beforehand so that she could dramatically tear it in half when the time came.

She couldn’t even pin down what she didn’t like about Trump’s speech.

All she could say was that it was a “manifesto of mistruths” which sounds bad but is so vague that it means nothing.

Pelosi didn’t hate Trump’s speech.

She hates Trump and she knew that by tearing up the speech she would draw attention away from Trump’s speech to her reaction to it.

Pelosi did get the attention that she was looking for. The only small problem is that she made herself look childish and petty in the process.

Even CNN had to ask if she thought that was a good move to make.

According to the Daily Wire:

CNN’s Manu Raju questioned Pelosi if the now-infamous speech-tearing stepped on her messages about being “dignified” and taking the “high ground.”

“Did you step on that message?” Raju bluntly asked.

“No, I did not. No, I did not. I tore up a manifesto of mistruths,” contended Pelosi.

“It was necessary to get the attention of the American people, to say this is not true,” she continued.

“And I don’t need any lessons from anybody, especially the president of the United States, about dignity. Dignity,” a visibly irritated Pelosi scoffed.

“Is it okay to start saying ‘four more years’ in the House of Representatives?” she asked. “It’s just unheard of.”

“It was completely, entirely appropriate,” the speaker concluded. “And considering the other exuberances within me, the courteous thing to do.”

Nancy Pelosi thought she could get away with her actions because the mainstream media will cover for her.

She should realize that when even CNN is questioning whether it looked good for her to tear up Trump’s speech, the answer is clear, it looked bad.

It’s the sort of thing that is frowned upon in kindergarten, the Speaker of the House should know better than to express her anger in such a juvenile way.

If she was truly concerned with tearing up the “manifesto of mistruths,” she would have torn up impeachment when it had been in her hands.
