Nancy Pelosi was called to account for the growing number of sexual misconduct allegations against elected Democrats.

She schemed to turn the tables on the GOP by attacking Roy Moore.

But what she said in one interview just sealed Moore’s fate.

Pelosi recently appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press and was immediately pressed on the sexual harassment and sexual misconduct scandals hovering over Democrat Representative John Conyers and Democrat Senator Al Franken.

She tried to parry the attacks by lauding Conyers record on women’s issues and claimed that Franken can’t be compared to Moore.

But she really bombed out in the interview once it became clear that she was willing to tolerate sexual harassment so long as the accused perpetrator was a Democrat.

Breitbart reports:

“Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) defended former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) and Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) against allegations of sexual misconduct while attacking President Donald Trump and Alabama GOP U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore.

On Clinton, Pelosi said, “I think it is a generational change. Let me say the concern we had then was that they were impeaching the president of the United States. And for something that had nothing to do with the performance of his duties and trying to take him out for that reason.”

On Conyers, Pelosi said, “We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused — and was it one accusation? Is it two? I think there has to be — John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women — Violence Against Women Act, which the left — right-wing — is now quoting me as praising him for his work on that, and he did great work on that. But the fact is, as John reviews his case, which he knows, which I don’t, I believe he will do the right thing.”

Pelosi compounded her error by dismissing the allegations against Franken – despite the damning photographic evidence – while attacking Moore over unverified allegations from 40 years ago, which Moore has strongly denied.

Breitbart also reports:

“On Franken, she added, “I don’t believe you can equate Senator Franken with Roy Moore. It is two different things.”

Pelosi called Roy Moore “a child molester.”

After weeks of the Democrats and the media attacking Republicans for standing by Moore and accusing them of “tribalism”, Pelosi swiftly excused the sexual misconduct of her fellow Democrats.

But while Democrats circle their wagons around their people who have undeniable evidence of wrongdoing—such as in the form of taxpayer funded settlements or actual photographs—yet demand Republicans to toss away a Senate race on the basis of mere allegations, conservatives see a clear double standard at work.

Pelosi and other liberals’ only concern is hanging onto power.

Their feigned outrage over the mistreatment of women extends only as far as it benefits them in the next election.

Wavering Republicans in Alabama saw Pelosi’s interview as evidence the Democrats are just ginning up the accusations against Moore for political gain.
