After losing the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton can’t help but continue to keep her name in the headlines.

Clinton’s constant attacks on President Trump have largely flown under the radar, but not this time.

Hillary Clinton just said seven words that left jaws on the ground.

Ever since losing the 2016 presidential race to Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton has strived to constantly keep her name in the media spotlight.

The former Democratic presidential candidate has made it her mission to attack Trump for even the slightest of pretenses.

Many believe Clinton is trying to keep her foot in the door to run for president once again.

But regardless of her motivations, Clinton has made it a habit to rebuke the President at every turn.

While most of America has largely moved on from Clinton, occasionally she will say something so outrageous that it catches fire.

And this time, Clinton captured the attention of the country, but not for the right reasons.

In just seven words, she explained – inadvertently – why America elected Donald Trump over her two years ago.

The Washington Times reports, “Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton slammed President Trump recently for arguing there’s a national crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border.”

“I just don’t think you should call national emergencies unless there truly is a national emergency. There’s no national emergency at our border,” Clinton recently said in an interview with Showtimes’ “The Circus”.

The fact that Clinton said this with a straight face encapsulates why she lost in 2016.

And the sad thing is she likely doesn’t even realize it.

Claiming that “There’s no national emergency at our border” is perhaps the most tone-deaf thing any politician in America could say.

President Trump literally got elected to office by being one of the few people running in 2016 who pointed out the crisis on the southern border with Mexico, and promising he would solve the crisis by enforcing America’s immigration laws and building a wall to secure the border.

Clinton opposed all of this.

And she doesn’t seem to even understand how Americans could disagree with her.

Worse yet, she’s either completely oblivious to the very real situation on the border, or she simply does not care.

It could be both.

Claiming that there is no emergency on the border means that Clinton hasn’t been following the caravans that have made their way north towards the U.S. and have tried to illegally force their way into the country.

Furthermore, it ignores the very real crime spree that has broken out across communities located near the border, as well as the tsunami of drugs that pour into the country from Central and Latin America.

Clinton astonishingly doesn’t even bother to consider this before dismissing the crisis out of hand, and denying that one even exists.

And, in just seven words, she left America with a heavy-handed clue as to why she lost in one of the greatest electoral upsets in American history.

Do you think Hillary Clinton doesn’t understand the crisis on the border?
