Another shoe just dropped in the scandal surrounding Barack Obama’s Deep State working to remove Donald Trump from office.
However, this time Donald Trump found out some really bad news.
And President Trump was stunned to find out this top Republican betrayed him to the FBI in the worst possible way.
Disgraced former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe continued lobbing verbal grenades at the President of the United States as part of the media tour to promote his book, “The Threat.”
In an interview on NBC’s ‘Today Show,’ McCabe answered one of the biggest questions surrounding his treasonous decision to open a counterintelligence investigation into the President, namely, did he inform the appropriate Congressional authorities?
McCabe revealed that he did inform the “Gang of Eight.”
The “Gang of Eight” consists of the chairmen and ranking members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, the Speaker of the House, the House Minority Leader, as well as the Senate Majority and Minority leaders.
“Opening a case of this nature, not something an FBI director — not something that an acting FBI director — would do by yourself, right? This is a recommendation that came to me from my team,” McCabe recounted. “I reviewed it with our lawyers. I discussed it at length with the deputy attorney general … and I told Congress what we’d done.”
This means Speaker of the House Paul Ryan was completely in the loop on every step of this seditious plot.
McCabe also described how Ryan and the other Congressional leaders never said a peep in protest.
“We had several cases already open under the umbrella investigation of the Russia case … and the concern about the president and whether or not he posed a national security threat that we should be investigating had been building for some time,” McCabe continued. “But it was the events around the firing that kind of sealed the deal for me and the folks on the team.”
Finally, McCabe spun a fairytale to NBC about how he opened the investigation and why no member of the “Gang of Eight” raised an objection.
“You have to ask yourself; if you believe the president might have obstructed justice for the purpose of ending our investigation into Russia, you have to ask yourself why. Why would any president of the United States not want the FBI to get to the bottom of Russian interference in our election?” McCabe concluded.
Many Americans dismissed McCabe’s story as the fables of an accused liar.
Trump supporters believe Ryan stayed quiet about McCabe’s decision to use the FBI to overthrow the President because he secretly shared the goal of McCabe, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to rid America of Donald Trump by any means necessary.
Ryan was never supportive of the President or his agenda.
The Speaker was the leader of the RINO establishment in Congress and, being as such, wanted no part of Donald Trump’s trade, immigration or foreign policies.
The FBI served his ends of trying to win back control over the grassroots populists and conservatives that delivered the nomination – and the Presidency – to Trump.
