Democrats think they have Brett Kavanaugh on the ropes.

They are using smears and lies to destroy him and kill his nomination.

And Kavanaugh just responded with this bombshell about withdrawing from the fight.

Democrats and the Media Smear Brett Kavanaugh

Two women came forward to make what many believe are false allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.

Christine Ford claimed he tried to rape her at a high school party.

Deborah Ramirez said Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a party when they were freshmen at Yale.

Both of these stories appear to be lies.

Ford named four other people at the party and every single one went on the record to deny being there.

The New York Times refused to run Ramirez’s story because they could not find a single person to corroborate her account.

The Democrats don’t care that they are using lies and false allegations to ruin Kavanaugh’s life.

They just want to force him to withdraw.

Some pundits thought Kavanaugh quitting would be the best thing for the GOP.

Jonathan Last of the “Never Trump” Weekly Standard claimed the GOP could still nominate another conservative.

This was nonsense.

If the GOP fails to confirm Kavanaugh, their base will be up in arms.

And they will stay home in November and hand the election to the Democrats.

Kavanaugh Reveals Whether He Will Withdraw

Kavanaugh answered the question about his future in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

He called the allegations false and vowed to fight them and clear his name.

Kavanaugh wrote:

Last night, another false and uncorroborated accusation from 35 years ago was published. Once again, those alleged to have been witnesses to the event deny it ever happened. There is now a frenzy to come up with something — anything— that will block this process and a vote on my confirmation from occurring.

There are smears, pure and simple. And they debate our public discourse. But they are also a threat to any man or woman who wishes to serve our country. Such grotesque and obvious character assassinations — if allowed to succeed — will dissuade competent and good people of all political persuasions from service.

As I told the Committee during my hearing, a federal judge must be independent, not swayed by public or political pressure. That is the kind of judge I will always be. I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process. The coordinated effort to destroy my good name will not drive me out. The vile threats of violence against my family will not drive me out. The last-minute character assassination will not succeed.

If Democrats and the media succeed in forcing out Kavanaugh, the GOP will not be able to just confirm another conservative.

The left views this seat as the key vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Abortion is the left’s religion.

If Kavanaugh quits, the left will simply deploy more false accusations and lies against the next nominee.
