Democrats thought they sunk Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

They brought up a 36 year-old allegation of Kavanaugh attempting to rape a woman to force him to drop out.

But what this Democrat said about his accuser will leave you speechless.

Diane Feinstein Reveals the Truth about Kavanaugh’s Accuser

California Democrat Diane Feinstein kicked off this mess.

She handed a letter to the FBI that Christine Ford wrote.

Ford claimed Kavanaugh tried to rape her at a party when they both were in high school.

Democrats quickly claimed everyone must believe Ford.

But there were several major problems with her story.

As Senators and pundits poked holes in her claims, Feinstein got put on the spot.

Reporters wanted to know why everyone should believe Ford.

That is when all hell broke loose.

Feinstein admitted she did not believe everything Ford said.

She claimed she could not tell if she told the truth.

Feinstein said Ford “is a woman that has been, I think, profoundly impacted, on this..I can’t say that everything is truthful. I don’t know.”

Feinstein realized she made a big mistake.

She added fuel to the fire that Ford is nothing more than a politically motivated liar.

Therefore, Feinstein tried to walk back her comments.

She said, “Look I believe she is credible. What we have wanted is an investigation carried out to look at the facts before there was a hearing. The republican majority is apparently not going to do that. But based on what I know at this stage she is credible.”

Christine Ford’s Story Collapses

Republicans gave Ford a chance to tell her story.

But she declined.

Her lawyer claimed Ford did not want to testify in a hearing until the FBI completed an investigation.

“Asking her to come forward in four or five days and sit before the Judiciary Committee on national tv is not a fair process,” her lawyer stated. “Any talk of a hearing on Monday is premature because she just came forward with these allegations 48 hours ago.”

Critics immediately questioned that defense.

Ford made her allegations in July.

She called a Washington Post tip line.

And then she wrote her letter to her Congresswoman.

Ford only revealed her name 48 hours ago.

But she had discussed her story before.

Her therapist provided notes to the Washington Post from 2012.

Ford talked about her alleged attack.

However, she never named Kavanaugh as her attacker.

Critics believe this questionable scandal is being used as a delay in the hopes Democrats win the Senate in November and then they can block any Trump nominee.

This led many Republicans who wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt to push for a vote.

Anti-Trump Senator Bob Corker tweeted:

After learning of the allegation, Chairman @ChuckGrassley took immediate action to ensure both Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh have the opportunity to be heard, in public or private. Republicans extended a hand in good faith. If we don’t hear from both sides on Monday, let’s vote.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
