Democrats are counting on winning back Congress in 2018.

Then Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer can finally impeach Donald Trump.

But this Democrat could destroy any chances of a blue wave in the November elections.

Keith Ellison’s Scandal Rocks The 2018 Elections

Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison is a liberal hero.

He is also the Democrat candidate for Attorney General in Minnesota.

Pundits expected Ellison to cruise to victory in November.

But that all changed when the son of an ex-girlfriend accused Ellison of abusing his mother.

The son claimed he saw video of Ellison dragging his mother off a bed by her feet.

He also wrote that he read hundreds of threatening text messages Ellison sent his mother.

Karen Monahan Provides Evidence

At first, Ellison tried to dismiss her claim.

He put out a statement that read, “Karen and I were in a long-term relationship which ended in 2016, and I still care deeply for her well-being,” Ellison said. “This video does not exist because I have never behaved in this way, and any characterization otherwise is false.”

That got him through his primary.

But after he won the nomination, the scandal did not go away.

Karen Monahan – the woman that accused Ellison of abuse – tweeted out medical records to back up her claim.

The report read, “She states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated.”

Monahan also said that she didn’t come forward because she believed Ellison would destroy her.

The report continued, “She did not have any physical injuries that required an examination in the past. She identifies the individual she was involved with as congressman Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly.”

Democrats Double Standard

Democrats rushed to say they believed Christine Ford when she claimed Judge Brett Kavanaugh tried to rape her back in high school.

But Ford’s story was not credible.

She could not say when or where she was attacked.

Ford has also told multiple versions of how many people were in the room when the attempted rape took place.

And she never told anyone at the time she claims it happened.

But Democrats do not apply the same standard of believing the victim when it’s one of their own being accused.

Monahan tweeted that the Democrats did not believe her story.

She tweeted:

No, they don’t. I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party. I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it. My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse.

A recent poll found just five percent of Minnesota Democrats believed her story.

This is not surprising.

Democrats brushed aside any allegations against Bill Clinton.

Democrats want to live by two sets of rules.

They demand Republicans pay the harshest penalty just for being accused of misconduct.

But they want their side to escape accountability for abuse even when there is concrete proof to back up the claims.

Americans took notice.

The Democrats conduct could inspire Republican voters to turnout in November.

They could punish the Democrats for their double standard.
