Black Lives Matter is a radical social movement which encourages violence against the police and promotes racial tensions.
For years, the movement has spread their toxic teachings throughout the country, even seeping their way into major corporations like the NFL.
Now, Black Lives Matter is taking their mantra to a whole new level—and starting a war against Christmas.
Black Lives Matter is known for its violent protests against police, and riots that occur as a result of the protests.
The social movement also gave birth to the very controversial NFL protests— most notably, those of Colin Kaepernick.
Now, one particular chapter of the social group is starting an anti-Christmas movement, claiming the Christian-based holiday is “too white.”
The “Black Xmas” initiative created encourages members to resist “white capitalism” the group believes Donald Trump represents.
The Daily Caller reported:
A Black Lives Matter chapter is launching a “Black Xmas” initiative to urge people to buy from black owned businesses during the holidays to “resist white capitalism.”
Black Lives Matter Los Angeles called on people to refuse to buy from white owned businesses and take that money to invest in the black community from Nov. 25 to Jan. 1. 2018. The boycott serves as an attempt to resist President Donald Trump and his ties to white capitalism, the group added.
“Donald Trump embodies White capitalism. If you are anti-Trump, you should hold back your resources from him and the like,” the organization said on its website.
Dr. Melina Abdullah, a Black Lives Matter organizer and professor of Pan-African studies, further explained that the boycott is rooted in Black Lives Matter’s attempts to get rid of state-sanctioned violence, that is often found in “white-supremacist capitalism.”
“This season, more than all others, Black Lives Matter is asking people to wake up, to be conscious of our own economic power, and to protest – not just in the streets – but in the malls,” Adbullah wrote in a 2016 op-ed for The Los Angeles Sentinel. “Black Lives Matter is dreaming of and building for a #BlackXMas, where we divest from White corporations and invest in building Black community. Rather than lining the pockets of Trump and other White-supremacist capitalists, donate to Black-led organizations that are building new, liberatory structures in our communities.”
Black Lives Matter seems intent on destroying not only patriotic values of the United States but religious values now as well.
If Black Lives Matter continues this war against Christmas, it may be detrimental to their group, considering the large following of Christians in the United States today.
Do you believe Black Lives Matter is taking their protests too far?
Do you think the radical social group needs to give up at this point?
