Adam SchiffThe walls are closing in on Adam Schiff and the Democrats.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her allies like Adam Schiff bet big on impeaching President Trump.

But Adam Schiff got hit with a nasty surprise that handed him one huge defeat.

Democrats were licking their chops when European Union Ambassador Gordon Sondland appeared before Adam Schiff’s impeachment kangaroo court.

Sondland had been involved in text conversations with former Ukraine envoy Kurt Volker and Ukraine Ambassador Bill Taylor that Democrats claimed were the smoking gun that proved a quid pro quo linking military aid to Ukraine and Ukraine investigating Joe and Hunter Biden.

Democrats and the fake and corrupt news media seized on portions of Sondland’s opening statement to claim Sondland was “breaking” with the President by claiming President Trump instructed him to work with Rudy Giuliani on all matters involving Ukraine.

That allowed the fake and corrupt news media to feed Americans a misleading narrative of Sondland’s testimony.

In fact, Sondland’s testimony backed up Donald Trump’s declaration that there was no quid pro quo involving military aid Congress appropriated for Ukraine.

In fact, Sondland testified that there were never any discussions in the White House about Joe or Hunter Biden.

“Again, I recall no discussions with any State Department or White House official about Former Vice President Biden or his son, nor do I recall taking part in any effort to encourage an investigation into the Bidens,” Sondland explained in his opening statement.

Sondland went on to explain that there was complete consensus among Taylor, Volker and himself that there was no intention of asking the Ukrainian President to involve himself in the 2020 election by investigating Biden.

“…to the best of my recollection, I do not recall any discussions with the White House on withholding U.S. security assistance from Ukraine in return for assistance with the President’s 2020 re-election campaign. I recall that, in late July 2019, Ambassadors Volker and Taylor and I exchanged emails in which we all agreed that President Zelensky should have no involvement in 2020 U.S. Presidential election politics. At the same time, we all believed strongly that U.S. Security Assistance should not be withheld,” Sondland testified.

Finally, Sondland told the committee that President Trump personally assured him there was no quid pro quo.

“Taking the issue seriously, and given the many versions of speculation that had been circulating about the security aid, I called President Trump directly. I asked the President: ‘What do you want from Ukraine?’ The President responded, ‘Nothing. There is no quid pro quo.’ The President repeated: ‘no quid pro quo’ multiple times. This was a very short call. And I recall the President was in a bad mood.”

Taken as a whole, Sondland’s testimony destroyed Adam Schiff’s impeachment narrative.

Sondland confirmed all the key details of Donald Trump’s defense for no quid pro quo.

The only thing Sondland confirmed was that the President asked that Rudy Giuliani be involved in any Ukraine decision making.

But the President has every right to designate whoever he wants to run point on policy initiatives.
