Democrats are using every trick in the book to remove Donald Trump from office.
The centerpiece of their strategy is using allegations of collusion with Russia to claim Trump is illegitimate and a traitor.
But one Judge just gave the Democrats some very bad news about this effort.
The Democrats claim the Trump campaign coordinated with the Russians on the cyberattacks against the Democrat National Committee.
To this day there is still no evidence the Russians were behind those attacks.
The FBI never examined the server—the allegation hinges only on the analysis of a private company hired by the DNC to conduct a forensic investigation of their server.
But that didn’t stop Democrat donors Roy Cockrum, Eric Schoenberg, and former DNC staffer Scott Comer from filing a lawsuit alleging President Trump’s campaign and Roger Stone colluded with the Russian government and WikiLeaks on publishing the hacked emails from the DNC.
This lawsuit was the Democrats’ latest gambit to stir up the Russian controversy and use it to drive President Trump out of the White House.
It ended in failure.
U.S. District Court Judge Ellen Huvelle tossed the case.
Huvelle – who was appointed by President Bill Clinton – said the claims of a conspiracy were not substantial enough to bring a lawsuit.
“The Trump Campaign’s efforts to elect President Trump in D.C. are not suit-related contacts for those efforts did not involve acts taken in furtherance of the conspiracies to disseminate emails that harmed plaintiffs.” Huvelle continued her opinion writing, “Campaign meetings, canvassing voters, and other regular business activities of a political campaign do not constitute activities related to the conspiracies alleged in the complaint.”
Judge Huvelle did say, however, that it was not a definitive declaration that there was no collusion:
“It bears emphasizing that this Court’s ruling is not based on a finding that there was no collusion between defendants and Russia during the 2016 presidential election.”
“This is the wrong forum for plaintiffs’ lawsuit. The Court takes no position on the merits of plaintiffs’ claims.”
One by one, the Democrats are finding that all their avenues to remove President Trump are closed off.
Their first scheme was pressuring the voting members of the Electoral College to withhold their votes from Trump or choose Hillary.
Then they moved to the Mueller investigation.
When that began to sputter, Democrats and the media turned their attention to Stormy Daniels’ accusation of hush money payments to claim Trump conspired to violate federal campaign finance laws.
That went nowhere.
So Democrats circled back to the Russian collusion fake news and filed nuisance lawsuits hoping to catch lightning in a bottle.
Their argument was so far-fetched that even a Clinton-appointed judge laughed them out of court.
There is only one way to remove President Trump from office – the 2020 election.
But President Trump will be running for re-election with a booming economy and an America First foreign policy and immigration agenda that is popular with the American people.
Democrats’ long-shot gambles are their only chance of stopping the President.
But even those are doomed to fail.
