obamaIn typical Obama fashion, this news dump occurred on Friday at 6PM. Not only were people winding down from the week, much of the public was preparing for the long weekend and gearing up for the debate.

This was no accident, as the news released is an indicator that our president is undermining the USA by supporting our enemies.

The Associated Press reports that:

[T]he Treasury Department published new guidance for businesses that said some previously prohibited dollar transactions with Iran by offshore banking institutions are allowed as long as they do not enter the U.S. financial system.

The clarifications from Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control also remove a blanket ban on foreign transactions with Iranian firms that may be controlled by a person who remains subject to U.S. sanctions.

The new language says this:

…foreign transactions with non-sanctioned entities that are nonetheless “minority owned” or “controlled in whole or in part by an Iranian or Iran-related person on the [specially designated nationals]”
are “not necessarily sanctionable” under U.S. regulations.

So what we have here is sanctions being eased against a country that has an active nuclear program, a country whose recent leaders have vowed to wipe our closest ally in the Middle East off the map, and a country that still remains on the US’s list for sponsoring terrorism!

This seems to be a common theme with Obama.

Tell our enemies how we are going to operate and then tie the hands of our military leader so we can’t win or intentionally kneecap ourselves, an ode to Chicago politics.

A question to ask is “How will Obama keep his word and keep those dollars from entering our financial system? He can’t (or won’t) keep illegal aliens from crossing the border.

Why do you think Obama waited for a long weekend to drop this bomb?  Is it really because that’s when the news came developed, or is it because he secretly thinks Americans are stupid and wont see it? Or does he even care about Americans?

It certainly looks like he is building up our enemies at our expense.   What do you think of easing sanctions on a country who supports ISIS and has a developed nuclear program?  Should we turn the screws and make it more difficult for their leadership to operate?

Or is it the right choice to ease sanctions after negotiating them for years to be put into place?

How do you feel about Obama taking actions in his last months of office that could endanger our security for years down the road?  Let us know what you think.
