Barack Obama plans to admit tens of thousands of Syrian refugees into America.

Now, his administration has enacted a “resettlement surge.”

And the increased number of refugees pouring into the country each day is a threat to our national security.

The Obama administration has fast-tracked the vetting program so they can meet their goal of accepting 10,000 Syrian refugees this year.

Breitbart News reports:

The Obama administration has created a “resettlement surge center” which has produced a pouring of 100 Syrian refugees in the U.S. per day. The very real risk to Americans — the lack of proper vetting of these individuals by the quick processing that is being done, almost all of them reported to be Muslims.

Over 100 Syrian refugees have been admitted every day in June according to the federal government’s own database from the Refugee Processing Center. More than 1,000 were admitted in May. The rate of those admitted has skyrocketed when compared to the 3,755 accepted in fiscal year 2016.

However, this accelerated refugee vetting process is accompanied by a large cost.

When Obama sought to reassure skeptical Americans, he pointed to the 18-24 month vetting program as proof his administration could keep out terrorists while admitting legitimate refugees.

But in order to accept 100 refugees per day, the vetting process has been slashed to three months.

And even the Obama administration’s goal of accepting 10,000 refugees this year is misleading.

The regional refugee coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan says that number is a “floor and not a ceiling.”

The Associated Press reports:

Gina Kassem, the regional refugee coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, said that while the target of 10,000 applies to Syrian refugees living around the world, most will be resettled from Jordan.

“The 10,000 (figure) is a floor and not a ceiling, and it is possible to increase the number,” Kassem told reporters.

There is a danger of terrorist groups such as ISIS using the refugee program to infiltrate America.

At least one of the terrorists who helped carry out the November, 2015 Paris attacks entered the country as a refugee.

But there is also a risk of second generation Muslims already in the U.S. becoming radicalized.

Omar Siddiqui Mateen, the Muslim who carried out the Orlando terror attack, was the son of immigrants from Afghanistan.

His father ran for president of that country, and he spoke favorably of the Taliban in Pakistan.

Donald Trump pointed out that the threat of unchecked Islamist immigration into the U.S. extends beyond the vetting process for refugees.

Despite the dangers of mass Muslim migration to the United States, the Obama administration is continuing their plans to resettle tens of thousands of Syrian refugees into our country.
