CNN thought they could shut down Donald Trump.

The far-left network censored his campaign’s latest ad.

But Trump supporters fought back and scored a major victory over fake news CNN.

The Trump campaign tried to buy time to run an ad that highlighted the achievements of Trump’s first 100 days in office.

CNN rejected the ad because it had a graphic that identified the so-called “mainstream” media as fake news, which they claimed made the ad false.

But CNN’s move backfired big-league.

More people ended up seeing the ad because of CNN’s blackout.

And the Trump campaign crowed about their victory.

The Hill reports:

“President Trump’s campaign claimed victory on Wednesday after CNN refused to air its latest TV ad because it referred to mainstream media outlets as “fake news.”

The campaign issued a press release touting online viewership for the ad, which lauded Trump’s first 100 days in office. The campaign said it received more than 1.5 million views between Facebook and YouTube “despite” CNN’s rejection of its ad.

“The American people have fought back against CNN’s censorship,” Michael Glassner, the Trump campaign’s executive director, said in a statement.

“We couldn’t be happier to see this type of response to CNN’s boycott of our ad. It really shows that the American people will not sit idly by and let the mainstream media act as a puppet master.”

The decision to censor the ad was outrageous.

CNN even violated federal regulations by refusing to air the Trump campaign commercial.

But CNN’s desire to hide the ad from Americans only served to boost its popularity.

This was a win for Trump supporters and a massive loss for the very fake news CNN.
