In recent weeks, there have been extensive and plausible theories that former President Barack Obama is planning to stage a massive coup against the Trump administration.

In fact, he’s even set up shop just miles from the White House in Washington, D.C.

And several weeks ago, an article by Paul Sperry of the New York Post exposed a plan about Obama staging a “shadow White House.”

While the former president pretends to be apathetic about the current political climate and the dismantling of his legacy, President Trump revealed he believes Obama has already meddled with his administration.  And it’s up to Trump and his administration to expose Obama’s tactics.

According to The Washington Times:

“President Trump says he thinks former President Obama is ‘behind’ the recent protests at town halls that Republican congressmen have been holding in their districts and that some of the government leaks could be coming from people loyal to Mr. Obama.

‘I think he is behind it.  I also think it’s politics.

That’s the way it is,’ Mr. Trump said in an interview that aired Tuesday on ‘Fox & Friends.  I think that President Obama’s behind it,’ Mr. Trump said.

‘Because his people are certainly behind it.  And some of the leaks possibly come from that group,’ he said.

Which are really very serious leaks, because they’re very bad in terms of national security.  But I also understand that’s politics, and in terms of him being behind things. That’s politics,’ Mr. Trump said.  ‘And it will probably continue.’

‘I’m not really surprised because I understand the way the world works.  It’s politics,’ he said.”

Despite the obvious conspiracy, which Obama has clearly orchestrated while he’s been on a month-long vacation throughout the world – including kite surfing with Richard Branson in the Virgin Islands, there is a silver lining one should find comforting.

What’s comforting is that President Trump seems be undeterred and unafraid by whatever his predecessor is about to throw his way.

When Trump insists “it’s just politics” and that “he understands how politics works”, it’s almost as if he’s sending Obama a direct message: ‘Bring it on, I’m not scared of you!’

Of course, you can’t ignore that what Obama is doing is treasonous, but it’ll be up to Trump to expose it as such.

President Trump isn’t alone in his theory either.

Fox News reported:

“He certainly is not alone, though, in his view that top Obama administration officials could be involved.  A former senior intelligence official told Fox News earlier this month that he suspects ex-CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper – among others – were connected to leaks.

Some of those officials have pushed back.  A Clapper spokesman, in a recent statement, appeared to distance the former Intel boss from any leaks, voicing support for a probe while urging the new administration to take a sober approach to the investigation.

‘Leaks need to be investigated, but those investigations should be conducted in a manner that is not disparaging of our dedicated IC professionals, nor destructive to the entire community,’ spokesman Shawn Turner said.

Ben Rhodes, former deputy national security adviser, also denied any involvement in leaks in an email to The Atlantic.  ‘It’s totally absurd and doesn’t make any sense,’ he wrote.”

We know it’s likely these leaks are coming from an unwavering allegiance towards the former president, but let’s all hope the Trump administration has a plan to combat these treasonous acts.
