All aboard the “I’m-moving-out-of-the-country-if-Donald-Trump-becomes-POTUS train.”
Joining an already astoundingly large list of celebrities, including Miley Cyrus.
Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Jon Stewart, Bette Midler and many, many more, Amy Schumer is joining the bandwagon and jumping ship to Spain (or anywhere but here) if the Republican nominee wins the general election.
Amy Schumer, the star of the hit comedy Trainwreck and the wildly popular Comedy Central show Inside Amy Schumer explained in an interview with BBC’s Newsnight that aired on Tuesday that people “aren’t informed.”
“That’s what I’m saying with the not being informed because those people aren’t informed. You know, if you go, ‘Why don’t you like Hillary?’ they’ll go, ‘She lied about her emails. What else is she going to lie about?’
People get one fact and that’s what they latch on to about a candidate. They’ll go, ‘She lied about that.’ I’m like, ‘Well Donald Trump has a fake college.’
Donald Trump doesn’t pay his workers. He won’t release his taxes. There’s never been a nominee that has not released his taxes.
I haven’t had a conversation with anyone who doesn’t like Hillary where they’ve had anything meaningful to say.
My act will change because I will need to learn to speak Spanish. Because I will move to Spain or somewhere. It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s just too crazy.”
Schumer is clearly taken aback by “incomprehensible” people who support Donald Trump, and only acknowledges one of the many issues that has grown in national attention about reasons for not voting for Hillary Clinton — Clinton’s health (every candidate should also release their medical records), Hillary and her staff destroying cell phones with hammers before the FBI can take hold of them, conspiring to sabotage Bernie Sanders before the Democratic National Convention, and lying about Colin Powell giving her consent to set up a private server.
But you’re right, Amy, Trump supporters are just clinging to that one thing.
These accusations also scream “pot calling the kettle black” as if she’s the goddess of moral authority in this country, because Schumer has had countless controversies over the past several years.
Here are some things that Schumer has admittedly been involved in:
Amy Schumer has no empathy. During the ‘Roast of Charlie Sheen’, Schumer made a harsh joke about the death of ‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn, directed at Steve-O, when she said that everyone wished it were Steve-O that died in the car crash that killed his best friend instead of him. She then refused to apologize until she received hate mail and death threats, and then begged Steve-O to put a stop to his fans’ threats.
She has no problem making harsh and asinine jokes at the expense of other people, but if you criticize her, then you need to pump the brakes. She criticizes anybody who makes a jab at her weight, hence when Schumer landed in a GQ magazine article about plus-sized women in the industry. She thought it was an unfair accusation while putting down the other women in the article. Hypocrisy at its finest.
Schumer has been accused by many comedians of stealing their jokes. In fact, there is a side-by-side YouTube video about her joke stealing. And the comparison proves that she lifted from comedians Patrice O’Neal, Wendy Liebman, Tammy Pescatelli, Marc Maron, John Mulaney and Kyle Cease. When forced to address the issue, Schumer blamed it on a bogus made-up term called ‘parallel thinking.’
A year ago, Schumer admitted to having sex with a drunk guy in college who was so intoxicated that he had no idea what was happening and was even falling asleep during the act. In other words, she admitted to raping someone.
It would not have been too bothersome if Schumer had expressed her support for Hillary Clinton, simply did not like Donald Trump’s policies or his character, and just left it there. But the tone of what she’s saying is that people who don’t support Clinton are dumb, and that level of idiocy is unfathomable to her.
Yes, the hypocrite, joke thief and rapist, has a strong “moral” argument in support of Hillary Clinton. Actually, that fits right in.
So Amy, go to Spain, and good riddance.
