Democrats – led by Barack Obama – have attempted to delegitimize Donald Trump’s victory in every way.
Their main talking point is that Russian hackers targeted Hillary Clinton and the emails released helped lead to her defeat.
But the newest polls sent an overwhelming message to Obama, Clinton, and the rest of the Democrats who refuse to face reality.
In his year-end press conference, Obama explained that it should have been obvious to everyone that the hackers were focusing on Clinton.
This came after he ordered a review – to be completed before he left office – on all Russian hacking related activities.
These actions added fuel to the left’s fire that Russia’s hacking was the decisive factor in Hillary Clinton’s defeat.
Hillary Clinton also embraced this theory.
“Hillary Clinton has kept a low profile since losing the election to Donald Trump, but at a private event before donors Thursday night, she blamed her loss, in part, on “some unprecedented factors” — namely Russian hacking and the letter about the investigation into her email server released by FBI Director James Comey days before the election.
“Vladimir Putin himself directed the covert cyberattacks against our electoral system, against our democracy, apparently because he has a personal beef against me,” Clinton said, per audio obtained by The New York Times. The event, for campaign donors, was closed to the press.
In the remarks, Clinton ties the “beef” to the country’s parliamentary elections in 2011, which as secretary of state, Clinton said were “unfair, not free, illegitimate.”
Around the time of those elections, Russian citizens took to the streets to protest Putin’s power grab.
“Putin publicly blamed me for the outpouring of outrage by his own people,” Clinton said. “And that is the direct line between what he said back then and what he did in this election.”
But two new polls show the American people rejecting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s conspiracy theory.
First, a Fox News poll found a majority of Americans did not believe the hacked emails affected the outcome of the election.
Fox News reports:
“A majority of American voters think there was no real effect on the presidential race from Russian cyber-attacks, according to a new Fox News Poll.
CIA officials reportedly believe Russian hackers meddled in the election to help Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. Yet 59 percent of voters believe the hacking didn’t make a difference.
The poll finds 32 percent think Russia did help Trump in the election, while just one percent says the cyber-attacks aided Clinton.
President-elect Trump called the CIA’s assessment that Russia attempted to influence the election “ridiculous.”
The poll also found that 71 percent of voters were familiar with the hacks and 54 percent of this group said it didn’t make a difference to the outcome of the election.
This poll was backed up by a NBC/Wall Street Journal survey as well.
Their poll found 57 percent of Americans said the hacked emails had no impact on the election.
Since Trump’s victory, the left has become unhinged.
First they staged riots in the streets of American cities.
Then they conducted a harassment campaign – including death threats – against Republican Electoral College voters to force them to abandon Trump.
Now they are full-on embracing conspiracy theories.
The good news is the polls show the American people are telling Obama and the Democrats to shut up and get over it.
