Barack Obama has lost it.
He was asked by a local reporter in Chicago about race relations in America.
And on the heels of a sickening video where four black thugs tortured a special needs white man, Obama made an unbelievable statement.
Obama claimed that race relations in America are not getting worse.
The Blaze reports:
During an interview with CBS Chicago’s Jay Levine, President Obama was asked about race relations during his time as POTUS. Levine made the comment that Obama must feel disappointed in the fact that racial tensions have gone downhill. Obama, however, disagreed with this assessment, and said that the only reason we think this is because of social media.
“In part because we see visuals of racial tensions, violence and so forth because of smart phones and the Internet,” the president said.
“What we have seen as surfacing, I think, are a lot of problems that have been there a long time. Whether it’s tensions between police and communities, hate crimes of the despicable sort that has just now recently surfaced on Facebook.”
Obama is referring to the horrible live streamed Facebook video of a black woman named Britanny Herring and her three friends torturing a special needs man because he allegedly voted for Donald Trump.
“I think the overall trajectory of race relations in this country is actually very positive,” continued Obama. “It doesn’t mean that all racial problems have gone away. It means that we have the capacity to get better.”
The Facebook Live video rocketed across social media and led the four thugs to be charged with a hate crime.
The scene that was broadcast shocked many Americans.
A special needs white man was bound, had his hair cut with a knife until his scalp bled, and was forced to drink toilet water while his black captors yelled profanities about Donald Trump and white people.
This video was the most searing example yet of why Americans believe Obama failed miserably at improving race relations.
A Pew poll showed 28% of Americans believe Obama tried, but failed, to improve race relations.
25% think he made things worse.
That adds up to 53% of Americans judging Obama as a failure on the topic of race relations.
And this video is a great example of why.
The hatred for Trump and his supporters that was broadcast daily by the so-called “mainstream” media – and that Hillary and Obama never really condemned – manifested itself in this attack.
When Obama was first elected, many hoped the nation’s first black president would help heal the racial divide.
Instead, Obama has acted like a race-baiter-in-chief.
He’s wrapped his arms around the controversial Black Lives Matter movement and attacked the police.
The nation’s reaction to racial controversies has only become more polarized during his time in office.
But like ObamaCare, foreign policy and the economy, Obama has deluded himself into believing he is a grand success on race relations.
The horrific video of a special needs white man being tortured because of his race by four black assailants proves otherwise.
