Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich spoke recently about the widening racial divide in America today, and how President Obama has contributed to escalating tensions during his time in office.

Under Obama’s tenure, Americans have seen violence, protests, and riots fueled by racial tensions like nothing seen since the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s.

When Barack Obama was elected as the first African-American president, his supporters believed it would usher in a new era of hope and racial unity in the country — but he has done nothing but fracture that hope.

Newsmax reports on Gingrich’s comments:

The nation is “at the edge of a terrible period,” Gingrich continued. “I know President-elect Donald Trump wants to avoid having deep, bitter division in the communities in a way that makes America very hard to govern.”

President Obama has clearly taken sides in the racial fight going on in the U.S. today.

He has blamed whites for suppressing minorities in the country.  He has blamed the police for targeting them.  And he has blamed guns for high minority murder rates.

Obama has blamed everyone and everything but himself — the nation’s leader whose job it is to keep the country safe and unified.

Obama even went so far as to defend the Black Lives Matter hate group over and over again — and place blame on white police — at a memorial service for Dallas police officers murdered in the midst of growing racial targeting of white law enforcement.

While the Black Lives Matter group has targeted whites simply for being white, the very claim they make about how black Americans are treated, Obama has remained largely silent.

Gingrich goes on to mention growing violence between whites and blacks, including a recent hate crime where black teens tortured a disabled white man, and escalating murder rates in America’s big cities.

Newsmax reports on Gingrich’s comments:

“There have been nearly 4,000 people shot in Chicago with no effective response from Mayor [Rahm] Emanuel and no effective response from President Obama,” said Gingrich. “I think people feel that they’re really alienated from their government, and you have no one to turn to, and you end up with this really destructive, and I think frightening, kind of development.”

Between President Obama’s and former Attorney General Eric Holder’s defense of rising violence between the black and white communities, Gingrich says it is no wonder Americans so readily elected Donald Trump to take over.

President Obama has created a fractured nation with his policies and attitude.

Under his administration, the nation has seen the rise of personal entitlement across all social groups.

The youth of our country who have grown up with Obama as president have adopted a “me first” view of the world with their safe spaces and constant outcries of inequality.

Obama has placed blame on Americans for the divide that exists in the nation today, and has stood back and watched as the country has fallen apart.

Donald Trump has made it known that America will be great again and will work to mend the racial divide that Obama did nothing but encourage.
