During a protest at the Supreme Court Monday night, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) was heard off mic encouraging a fellow congressman to tell the crowd he is a Muslim.

Congressional Democrats had gathered to speak out against President Trump’s immigration ban executive order which temporarily halts immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries, and indefinitely bans Syrian refugees from entering America.

Among those speakers who addressed the crowd was Rep. Andre Carson from Indiana, whom Pelosi introduced as a “Muslim member of Congress.”

This partial transcript then transpired following the introduction:

“CARSON: Greetings from the great state of Indiana. I’m Congressman Andre Carson.

PELOSI (OFF MIC): Tell them you’re a Muslim. Tell them you’re a Muslim.

CARSON: Not only do I represent Indiana’s seventh congressional district very proudly, but I happen to be a Muslim and a former police officer.”

When Pelosi insisted, “tell them you’re a Muslim”, it was in a demonstrative and condescending tone, as though telling the crowd about his religious beliefs was more important than him actually speaking to the crowd.

It’s obvious Nancy Pelosi considers his faith as more important.

Of course, when you learn why he’s a Muslim, especially considering his family background, it’s rather bizarre.

Carson’s Congressional seat had been held by his grandmother, Representative Julia Carson, before he came to acquire it.

He grew up in a Baptist family and attended a Catholic school and even toyed with the idea of becoming a priest.

But it was rap music that moved him and he converted to the Muslim faith as a teenager.

This is not made up.

And, in fact, there are actually two members of Congress who are of the Muslim faith.

Representative Keith Ellison of Minnesota was the first Muslim to be elected of the two – and it may have paved the way for what could become an explosion of Muslims being elected to the United States Congress.

Which is terrifying.

However, Ellison admitted in his 2014 memoir, ‘My Country, ’Tis of Thee: My Faith, My Family, Our Future’, he has never been one to overtly display his faith in public.

Ellison wrote:

“I practice my faith the way that millions of other Americans practice their faith: personally.  I never wanted to be put in a position of being seen as some sort of Islamic leader.”

Which is odd.

Considering the fact Ellison paved the way for Carson, one would think Carson would follow the advice of Ellison’s discretion, instead of using his Muslim faith to manipulate people during a protest.

But when Ellison became the first Muslim elected to Congress in 2006, he angered many members of Congress by choosing to be sworn in on the Quran.

Which is superior: the Constitution or Shariah Law?

Shariah Law incites violence, which is why terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS have devoted their lives to the Quran.

Now Pelosi and Carson are using a violent religion to manipulate gullible and naïve sheep into believing it’s really not so bad.

And it’s only going to get much worse.  Imagine how many Muslims will try and run for Congress now?

Nancy Pelosi may have just opened the flood gates with an open invitation for Muslims to run our country.
