Mitch McConnell is the definition of the Washington swamp.

He’s an establishment figure who has refused to fight for Trump’s America First agenda.

Now he’s realizing his career is over after Trump sent these four tweets.

McConnell and Trump have been feuding ever since McConnell failed to line up the votes to repeal Obamacare.

The Senate Majority Leader then made public comments that indicated he did not think Trump was up to the job of President.

He also squashed legislation that passed in the House that would have provided a $1.6 billion down payment on Trump’s border wall.

So Trump fought back the best way he knows how.

He tweeted his disapproval of McConnell.

Almost immediately, McConnell’s poll numbers tanked.

A new Public Policy Polling survey found just 18 percent of Kentuckians approve of him.

Tangling with Trump is bad news for a Republican Senator.

Jeff Flake refused to support Trump during the campaign and repeatedly attacked him once in office.

Trump then began to tweet that Flake was weak on the border and offered support for Kelli Ward, a pro-Trump primary challenger.

A poll of Arizonans found his approval rating at 18 percent and he trailed Ward by 14 points.

Could McConnell suffer the same fate?

He is not up for re-election until 2020.

But if he continues to feud with Trump and refuse to pass his Make America Great Again agenda, experts would not be surprised to see him face a pro-Trump primary challenger who has the backing of the White House.
