9-11University of Minnesota student government censors history, says remembering 9/11 attacks is ‘Islamophobic’

College is making young Americans stupider, and nowhere is that more apparent than at the University of Minnesota.

There, the student government overwhelming voted against issuing a resolution of annual remembrance for the Sept. 11, 2011 attacks, declaring that mentions of 9/11 “spread Islamophobia” and create “physical threats.”

The “Minnesota Student Association (MSA)–the undergraduate student government at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities (UMN)– rejected a resolution for a moment of recognition on future anniversaries of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks,” The Minnesota Republic reports.

“Theo Menon, the student group representative to MSA for the College Republicans (CRs) at UMN, introduced the resolution; MSA’s forum voted against it 36-23 (with three abstentions),” the Republic reports. “The proposed resolution pointed to the university’s lack of any sort of commemoration regarding the attacks on 9/11. It then called for a campus-wide moment of recognition on every September 11 from now on.”

Campus liberals erupted with rage over the idea of a resolution casting the United States as the victim, and not the perpetrator, of violence.

David Algadi, the student government’s “Director of Diversity and Inclusion”, led opposition to 9/11 memorials.

“The passing of this resolution might make a space that is unsafe for students on campus even more unsafe,” said Algadi, “Islamophobia and racism fueled through that are alive and well.”

Algadi is majoring in “Social Justice,” which is apparently an actual degree at this university.

He claims the resolution is a violent threat, one that makes him “fearful for the welfare of our Muslim and Middle Eastern students on campus, of which I identify with.”

Algadi argued instead for a resolution condemning all whites.

“When will we start having moments of silence for all of the times white folks have done something terrible?,” he said.

Like creating a “Social Justice” major?

The MSA previously issued a statement claiming they stand “in solidarity with the students of the University of Missouri fighting for their voices to be heard in the face of exclusion, racism, and danger.”

There, students are literally too afraid to leave their dorm rooms because someone made a swastika out of poop.

The MSA is also providing students with “therapy animals” to deal with the stress of exams and recent events.

Colleges are making people stupider, and you can find them by looking for their “Social Justice” degrees.
