The left refuses to accept the results of the election.
Every statement and move by Democrats since November 8th has been designed to undermine the incoming Trump administration.
And Loretta Lynch oversaw a major move that left many conservatives furious.
The Department of Justice Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, announced an investigation into the conduct of FBI officials – including Director James Comey – during the Clinton email scandal.
The Justice Department’s internal watchdog is launching a broad review of how the FBI handled its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
The review’s scope includes allegations that FBI Director James Comey violated established procedures when he publicly discussed the bureau’s findings and when he sent Congress updates shortly before the election about new evidence agents had discovered.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced in a statement Thursday that his investigation will also explore whether FBI and Justice Department employees improperly leaked information prior to the election.
Clinton and aides on her Democratic presidential campaign have blamed Comey’s pre-election revelation that he was reviving the email investigation as a key factor in her narrow loss to Republican nominee Donald Trump.
A statement from Horowitz’s office said he was initiating the inquiry “in response to requests from numerous Chairmen and Ranking Members of Congressional oversight committees, various organizations, and members of the public.”
Democrats blamed Director James Comey for the letter released on October 28th informing Congress that newly discovered emails on a laptop belonging to Anthony Weiner may be relevant to the Clinton email investigation and they were reopening the case.
Comey later announced the emails had previously been obtained, but that didn’t stop Democrats from claiming Comey would swing the election with an “October surprise.”
Both Bill and Hillary Clinton blamed Director Comey for her loss.
The New York Times reported on Hillary’s bellyaching:
In her most extensive remarks since she conceded the race to Donald J. Trump early Wednesday, Mrs. Clinton told donors on a 30-minute conference call that Mr. Comey’s decision to send a letter to Congress about the inquiry 11 days before Election Day had thrust the controversy back into the news and had prevented her from ending the campaign with an optimistic closing argument.
“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” Mrs. Clinton said, according to a donor who relayed the remarks. But, she added, “our analysis is that Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless, baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum.”
The Daily Caller reported on Bill Clinton’s whining:
“James Comey cost her the election,” the former president said when he ran into the editor of the Bedford-Pound Ridge Record Review in Katonah, New York recently. “We were seven percentage points up” in national polls at the time.
Comey sent a letter to lawmakers two weeks before the election to tell them that his agency was reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server when she was Secretary of State.
Critics see this investigation as a chance for the Obama administration to officially label Trump as illegitimate.
If the Justice Department – using an investigation run by Obama’s people – issues a statement that Comey acted inappropriately, it will provide all the ammunition the left needs to continually hound Trump as the winner of a stolen election.
The Justice Department is including some conduct Republicans would like to see investigated viewed as a fig leaf to cover up the real reason this probe was initiated – to undermine Donald Trump.
